  1. Is there a 17" copy of the R34 GT-R rims around? T.
  2. Which broker is this? T.
  3. Only if you don't drive a Skyline... T.
  4. I fink the R34 GT-R OEM 18" forged rims look tops on any Skyline. It would be hard to fit them on a GTS but I haven't seen any 17" copies yet which isn't good. T.
  5. Lesseee - I get 220-240km/h speedos on Magnas, Commodores, Fords and even CR-V's... But my 'Line has a 180 and so does a mate's GT-R. Isn't this odd Where can I get a cheap 300k speedo dial? T.
  6. It's illegal to remove bags. I wanna get rid of my bag but can't. Probably just reupholster the wheel if it's tatty. T.
  7. No offense but if any of you have seen "BY BY" which is a UAS car I believe, very few cars are as "JAP" as that. White, stickers everywhere, GT wing, carbon bonnet, big 18" rims... btw. I have bronze Rays Volk TE37 Mag Challenge rims coming on my car? Is that too "JAP"? T.
  8. Is there a way you can get a lease? That is the only way I could ever get insurance on a GT-R... (my own fault at least for the next few years or so...) T.
  9. Also you can only bring in 1999+ models which makes the whole exercise incredibly expensive. Get a local one. T.
  10. They're aren't too bad. They do look a little too 'drift' and almost 80's like... I admit they'd look a little bad on a Skyline. T.
  11. Talking to Tim before, it's clear he's no friend of the insurance company. I'm in no mood to even consider a $4,000 premium for ANY car... But this is the situation as presented. The insurance industry is unjust just like the banking, police and many other sectors. You either play their game or you don't. I'm not playing it and I reckon that you either find a way or give up. You gave up (rightly or wrongly). T.
  12. It was my impression that the genuine Nissan stuff was even more expensive. T.
  13. No offense but is there something wrong with your record? I was rejected quite famously by some folx because they obviously weren't too enamoured by my 25/30 overs. Unfortunately the industry needs a shakeup if the New Zealanders can insurance machines cheaper than we can... T.
  14. I just called these arseholes at Black Widow. Their 9900 doesn't have auto start... Bummer. T.
  15. What about a carbon applique trim? Cheaper than the alternative and quite attractive. T.
  16. http://www.car-alarms-accessories.com/insp...pector_2000.htm Yes? No? T.
  17. I have washed my (black) car on a hot day and you can see wisps of steam curling off the paintwork... T.
  18. How this one: http://www.cpusmashcrew.net/pics/bels/linef.JPG http://www.cpusmashcrew.net/pics/bels/liner.JPG Only one I've seen in this colour and spoken for... T.
  19. This was the Porsche in Bad Boys. Martin Lawrence complained about how he paid $100,000 for a Porsche yet it had not back seat... nor cup holders... T.
  20. That Midnight Purple colour is GT-R only... T.
  21. Sounds like Will Smith's turbo Porsche... T.
  22. If they stacked penalties you'd be ****ed. For me... $360 for no license $500+ for 45 over plus more three months? $184+ 3 points for double yellow. It all gets a bit ridiculous. I am glad I didn't have a license, if I did I would be suspended for 3 months... this way I just pay and drive again T.
  23. White accentuates the Skyline shape better. Black is horrid to keep clean, I know man. I wash it on Sunday, it's dirrty by Tuesday. White has the problem where the bottom gets greyish as the turbo fouls the paintwork. I ended up with a silver 'Line. T.
  24. Only cost me $360 or something... It's already kinda folklore in the office. I was doing 95+ (going onto 120 or so) in a 50 zone... Overtaking an unmarked Camry police car... On a bridge... On a double yellow line... With a cancelled license... And I gave the officer a nasty glare as I passed him for doing 40 in a 50 zone. w00t!!! T.
  25. You might say that all of these cars are thrashed. You would think that a modded GTS or GTR would be driven gently by an old Japanese doctor's wife? You get mods for cheap - I expect that any of these imports are driven hard. That's the gamble. Buy a stock one but then again, you pay for mods in AUD... T.
