  1. Are they gonna **** you on a unregistered driving charge? Report it stolen. T.
  2. Expect 2 hours at least for dyno time. UAS charge a reasonable hour rate. Perhaps follow up with a road tune. T.
  3. 140 in some 60 or 70 zone is nothing for a Skyline. There are many roads that are artificially low for no good reason. Like many of you guys, I've got an impressive road record so unless you have a pristine record one cannot really judge. I've been done unfairly but these are the laws we have to abide by, right or wrong. If you're sitting at 70, 140 is seconds away in 3rd gear. I'm a big proponent of 'no harm, no foul' - in a safe environment, no drinking, no pedestrians, I don't see any reason to deprive someone of a license for a year and $1,500 for 10 seconds of bad judgement. This is the sad money grubbing environment we drive in so be sure that when you drop the hammer, the cops are nowhere around. Perfectly straight road, non-pedestrian environment like Homebush Bay Drive, I'm not silly enough to cry 'wolf' and say you're endangering anyones' life let alone mine. T.
  4. The pics show GTS. T.
  5. The LM wide was never available for public sale. The blue LM was an V-Spec special edition that was French Blue and had unique badging. That is all. They are expensive due to the rarity but they are no more special mechanically than any other V-Spec. T.
  6. Nurburgring Nordschleife is the 'Mount Everest' of race tracks. 23.2km (14.2 miles) of the hardest road you'll ever drive - 186 turns. I've done countless laps on GPL and SCGT and I can't remember all of it. I can remember 'sections' and I string these sections together. <10 min times means you command respect and are seasoned <09 min times means you prob. drive professionally <08 mins - hello Mark Weber <07 mins - hello Herr Schumacher All the serious manufacturers take it as business- Porsche, BMW, Nissan, Mazda, Ferrari... T.
  7. 160psi? T.
  8. No worries. I'll call tomorrow during business hours. Maybe I'll have to pick up on weekend? btw. if you can't find a reinforcement bar at the wreckers, I know a mate of mine who can get lightweight fiberglass composite bars. Very strong. PM me. T.
  9. Interested. Where are you located? I gotta get me wagon to pick up T.
  10. Garage queen. This is much more common in Ferrari land where you might see a 30 year old car with 5,000km on the dial and still with the original spark plugs, tyres etc. While this sort of car makes me wanna sit down, look at those lovely pictures and have a drink, the reality is that Hiroshi Hasegawa like Enzo Ferrari, wanted these cars to be driven, driven hard and even abused. Are there even concourse events for Japanese cars? T.
  11. My rear plate is curved. You can't really blame the govt. as these cars were designed for Japanese plates so you can't expect them to cater for that. All the rear bumpers I look at had the same 350mm small size. T.
  12. That's right. V-Mount is the best in almost every circumstance. We may get around heat problems with out setups with triple core alloy radiators but it's a compromise. T.
  13. Fold her up like a deck chair - no probs bruvva :sperm: The 32 I found to be ok for shortish trips. The 33 has no problems at all. The 34 has no problems either. T.
  14. There's no reason why an RB25 with good compression + regular oil and maintenance shouldn't last as long as the VL RB30 which have often run 300-400-500,000km. The RB is a strong motor even though they give the impression of blowing up a lot. T.
  15. Interested in the Mines and HKS race car (No. 87 if I'm correct). PM me a price for both to Syd. Could I bother you for a pic? T.
  16. There's one VL out there with an RB26 and all the ATTESSA running gear. Even though... it's still not a GT-R! T.
  17. I personally think it looks full sick y0 because the JGTC and show cars all seem to run them either < or > way depending on your orientation. But the cars have the motor sitting way back and it looks like a nightmare of custom fabrication up front. T.
  18. white 1999 S1 R34 GT-R V-Spec immaculate Nismo LM4-GT1 5 spoke bronze plates "CMYMDI" Burwood Rd. T.
  19. How about no you crazy dutch bastard? T.
  20. I've been asked this before like I'm the expert on these matters I was not too impressed with the Autoart 1999 Series 1 R34 GT-R's but these were their early efforts and they've picked up their game considerably. Here is a Series 2 V-Spec R34 - the one's I saw in the store were very very good: http://lugnutz18.topcities.com/r34vspec2.htm Here's an S1 for reference: http://lugnutz18.topcities.com/r34.htm Here's my favourite: http://lugnutz18.topcities.com/r34vspec2nismo.htm Some guys love this one: http://lugnutz18.topcities.com/r34vspec2gr...randturismo.htm Here's the Nismo S-Tune 350z for this Nismo pair: http://lugnutz18.topcities.com/350znismo.htm Now the bad news... These are hard to find in Sydney... most of the hobby shops like Sherriffs, Automodels have wall to wall Falcons and Commodores but Japanese models aren't easy. They are hard to order as well. I've found that certain models pop up and you never see them again. Australia is not a big market. If you're truly interested I have a few contacts. They are also about $100 each. Here's two of mine - Kyosho not Autoart: http://home.exetel.com.au/tony/bonnet_open.jpg T.
