  1. Thanks for the feedback and help guys I guess my next question is - My 2 past EPA's were full ones (Noise/ Emissions + visual inspection under hood etc) so they weren't just noise ones. If I get done for another full EPA (not a noise one) will the fine be more severe then the $599 fine as mentioned in this thread? Cheers Brent
  2. Hi Guys, I have a quick question about the EPA. I have had two FULL EPA's in the past. One was in May and the other in September of last year. On both occasions I was pulled over by cops and defected on the spot and had the EPA notice(s) sent approx a month after the defects. I then was told that if i get another EPA I would get a large fine. Does anybody know the cost of this fine and if this is true? And if I was to receive a simple noise test notice in the mail would that still count towards the 3rd strike or does it need to be a full EPA for me to get this 'fine'? I have checked the EPA sticky and read through quite a bit of it but couldn't find clarification on this. Cheers
  3. I bought one off another forum member few weeks back otherwise i would have probably grabbed this one off you. Thanks anyway mate
  4. Hi Guys, I'm after a second hand high flowed T3 turbo off a R33 GTST as I want a direct bolt on solution. I would prefer a GCG high flow but let me know what you've got. Must have no to minimal shaft play. If anyone has one for sale preferably in Melbourne for pickup please let me know. Cheers
  5. haha yeh it could have been me i was heading down that way around that time of night to drop some people off.. did the car happen to have white rims?
  6. looks mint
  7. umm I couldn't find the offset written anywhere on the rims for some reason. I don't have much details about them because they were already on the car when I bought it. Anyone is welcome to come over and try fitting the rims to see if the offset etc is OK.
  8. not sure to be honest.. i am at work now so i will check when i get home and let you know tonight
  9. Need these gone as out of space in the garage. Price drop $320 ONO.
  10. Hi All, Selling a set of 4 Rodney Jane 'Racing' rims. 17 inch. 5 stud and they came off my R33 GTS-T. There is no visible gutter rash and there are no huge scratches - they are in overall very good condition. Centre caps displaying the Rodney Jane logo are removable if need be. Tyres are 215/50R17 Yokohama's. Front 2 tyres are in good nick with plenty of tread left, however the rear two have seen better days and are completely bald with wire coming through one... $400 - PM me
  11. Correct me if I am wrong, but I was pretty sure it adds more fuel to retard the ignition when the AFM senses too much air to rich it out? - not cut the fuel..
  12. Still for sale, would like this gone, it's just taking up space. $250
  13. nice write up! I did this today on my R33. Used carby cleaner but just to finish the job off I was cleaning behind the spring within the AAC valve using a cotton tip (the little ear cleaner things) and the cotton tip fell off behind the spring! i couldnt get it out, i also used air compressor and i think that just forced the cotton further in haha. so yeh the cotton bud is still lodged in there somewhere.. Anyhow i put it all back together and the car works fine, idles perfect etc. Should i be worried?
  14. And with a pod it makes plenty of noise while the turbo spools up also. With a after market BOV your car might run like a dogs ass, stalling etc.
  15. don't know if this is any help but on my 33 it was idling to around 100rpm then just stalling. Got my dad to have a look at it and it turned out the cable coming from the O2 sensor had melted as it was resting on motor or exhaust manifold and that popped a fuse somewhere. My old man replaced the fuse (dont ask me where it was i wasn't with him at the time) and it worked fine ever since.
  16. supercheap have them i think but they are expensive from memory. Autobarn didnt have a huge range from memory. i really desperately needed a silicon hose for one of the joins in the cooler pipes and it cost me like $50!
  17. I had the same problem on my 33 - the fan eventually trimmed itself down and now it doesn't hit at all really. the fan still functions as it should and spins fine. Its only approx. 1cm on the edge of the blades that have trimmed down. If you wanted to you could probably trim the edge of the blades yourself before the piping does it for you
  18. price drop to $20 as is. pickup. just want it gone.
  19. na mate sorry. I only have these items left over because of recent minor bolt on upgrades.
