  1. get it fixed by a dent master not a panel shop and you'll drive it home the same day
  2. Spotted a stock silver V35 on Mitchell heading North at about 8:30am Monday. I was late for work and pushing past the speed limit and he gave it a squirt and passed me. I'm sure he thought I was racing him. He turned off at Cedric.
  3. I've never known the stock suspension to be so hard that it is annoying. Do you have coilovers already? If you are running stock don't expect coilovers to get you a smoother ride.
  4. Tip: Take any good model you find, there won't be a lot of A grade stock coming from Japan for a while.
  5. I don't actually think there will be much of an import market Vic. Not from Japan for a while. What I do imagine will happen is a brief rise in current import vehicle prices, therefore increased value in the vehicles we have here already. The values may take a rapid fall once Infinity is released.
  6. Don't see that happening anytime soon...............You are aware of what recently went down in Japan aren't you?
  7. My 2c. Head unit is a good start and will have plenty of support if purchased locally. Speakers I would demo, may be marginally better that the factory units or they could be gr8, but you can't tell on-line. Demo some gear and decide what you like, you don't have to get everything at once. Build your system slowly if your budget won't stretch. I suggest if your close to them, get yourself down to Call Frankston Car Audio and have a chat with Mark the prop. He is offering insane deals on quality gear right now. http://www.frankstoncaraudio.com.au/attachments/File/OzblissClearancePoster.jpg Crescendo Opus
  8. I have a Hybrid Audio front stage which has the L6 midbass driver in the stock door location mounted to an MDF baffle The speaker size is 181mm (7.1") overall diameter with a 77mm mounting depth. As for the rear, the only thing I have back there are the subs
  9. I've replaced both sides AND reset them using the reset button. Given the part number is identical for all countries and the part is also genuine Nissan I can only assume the button exists for all parts.
  10. What is it about this exhaust that interests you? I've done some research in the past and have found that out of the true dual range it would probably be a Fast Intentions for me. Deep note without rasp and no drone.
  11. items obtained. Thread may be closed. Thanks guys for the heads up, Greg had everything I needed.
  12. Thanks Vic but Ren beat you to it I didn't know there was a V35 wecking in the 4sale section tho so thanks for that
  13. Of course if all you've got is pristine I'll take that too if the price is affordable
  14. Just to clarify, this is what i'm after
  15. or you could try Stillen direct http://www.stillen.com/
  16. http://www.conceptzperformance.com/specials.php G35 Driver sponsor. Mike is the contact there. $290 shipped to OZ.
  17. Hi guys, I'm not needing the trim to be "pristine" as I'll be doing some trimming and mods to the plastics, as long as any damage is minor or at least repairable. No switches req'd, just the basic trim panels. If you have anything or know of anyone who has what you think will suit then please let me know. cheers M
  18. Spotted silver V35 with chrome wheels @ 11:30pm sitting in the Jets fitness carpark on Nicholson Road.
  19. As with any alternative fuel, you just can't throw it in your tank and expect a good result. E85 will not just require a specific tune. You'll need to ensure fuel lines are compatible (usually only teflon lines) and to get the most out of the fuel you may need aftermarket Engine management. Check out the E85 thread, there are certainly performance benefits to be had on a modified vehicle. As for the article I'd look at it in the correct light. On a stock standard vehicle like the commodore E85 the tune will be conservative and not at all performance based so results may not be all that impressive. Just for reference the V8 supercars run E85.
  20. , so you replaced it twice?
  21. I would have thought low fluid levels would effect all gears, not just reverse. Would be pertinent to return to the people who serviced it.
  22. http://splparts.com/store/product-info.php?pid22.html otherwise contact Sydneykid for advice.
  23. There's also a reason why the VQ35 motor has earned the title "glass bottom end" when it comes to FI. Tougher conrods are a must if you want any longevity.
