I had similar problem in my 32 gtst, wouldn't rev over 3500rpm. Turns out my fuel tank had rust in it changed pump n tank to gtr one and fixed the problem. So check your fuel tank incase it has rust or gunk in it.

hey guys i transported my 32gtst through ceva from perth to sydney depot to depot cost me $720 and took 6 days to get it. That was in 09 so prices could have gone up. hope that helps

hey mate, i grew up in the gong now 22 and the lifestyle here is pretty good, traffic isn't that bad during peak hour only around the main cities where even that is fine. Almost all suburbs have a ghetto spot but there not as bad as you would think, crime rates not too bad(your cars pretty safe at the supermarket) and theres always a punchup in town on a saturday night. police do blitz all around the area and speed traps. there are jobs around but yeah we are lazy people down here, not so much warehouse n distribution jobs but more retail and customer service orientated. Hayfever wise my mrs gets hayfever here but she can cope if not have a zirtec. Beaches are good too. Downsides - gets boring after you have seen the sites, not many performance stores but with sydney between 1-2 hours away depending on area theres heaps to choose. Nightlife is the same like most clubs play the same songs but dont go fever or formally known as bluenote its dirrrttyy but over the years here i have met alot of people who moved from sydney and other major cities and they find it so much more relaxing and they do enjoy the beaches and that "lazy" wollongong style. i didnt want to go into heaps of detail or i would be writing a book on this town but all in all wollongong its not a bad choice down here

one more thing will these problems cause my car to idle wrong cause when it starts to cut out ill pull up and my car will revv itself to 2k n back off and then rev back up and keep doing that until it goes back to normal randomly

my cars all stock except cat back an pod filter still running stock boost which is around 5 or 6 psi as my guage tells me. we put a fuel pressure guage on the car and took it for a drive and as it started boosting the fuel pressure started dropping so i think your right it could be my fuel pump or the sender might be faulty but ill take your advice and take it to a workshop cause the more time i wait its just gonna kill my engine thanks for that

hey all my car is slowly dying some times the car would run fine but some times it just starts to cut out when i first got the car last year it had similar problems due to my fuel tank and pump being rusted inside but that was fixed with a GTR tank and fuel pump the car was running great for 6 months and latley its just been playing up. pretty much what happens is when i accelerate before it starts to hit boost at around 3k rpm it dies out and i try to accelerate but it goes up to 3k then cuts out like it cant pump any more fuel. when my car first got the problem a mechanic told me that my fuel system uses two different settings, less fuel in the low rpm and when boost increases the higher setting kicks in for sufficient fuel. if thats true maybe its not sending the signal to increase the pump therefore its only revving to the limit of fuel being pumped in the lower setting. i dont think my explanation is straight forward but if anyone has had similar problems or knows about something like this any help would be great thanks all

hi there all i bought a nissan skyline had it for almost two months and recently it started dying out and i took it to a mechanic and it was my fuel pump that was dead but it was because my fuel tank is contaminated with rust and ive look at heaps of wreckers in perth and they dont seem to have any so if anyone has a spare one for a 1990 R32 gtst or knows of any way to modify a different model on it any advice would be great thanks henry
