Hi guys ive had a search around the forum but i cant really find the answer to my problems my second cylinder aint firing on my rb20det i know this bcoz when i go along and unplug each coilpack, the second one is the only one which doesnt change the cars idling rate so i started by swappin all my plugs around, and shes still missin on that 2nd cylinder swapped coilpacks over, still missin now the only other thing im guessing is whether the injector on that cylinder may be blocked, so i ran some injector cleaner through my car, didnt work tired another brand of injector cleaner, didnt work so im hoping its that injector which is fluffed, my question IS - what else could it be if its not the injector? also, if im to swap to different injectors, which ones are the best to go with? im kinda leaning towards gtr's with a resistor pack, but i dunno whether more cc's are better or high and low impedence is better i am lost, sorry moderators if there is a thread similar, i wasnt able to find one im hoping im not up for big dollars to fix something internal... >_>

well i went to vivagarage and got meself a phat BN kit, loving it winding down the coilovers onto sum 17x10 and 17x9's soon should look mint ;D

dunno if it'd be the same, but a mate of mine put widebody fenders on the rear of his 32 four door had 30mil spacers originally without rubbing, now has extra 30 odd mil on top of that bring on the 10inch tyres, lol

yeah leaning towards nistune also.. although its alot of fun to drive now with the new fuel system setup and what not.. but with a tune and the new turbo etc should be interesting to see how it goes post tune..

Turned out to be my stock fuel pump, replaced it with an 040 and she no longer spits or struggles, also added an aftermarket fuel regulator now the problem seems to be non existant

i see, well we have checked my ignitor, coil packs etc and found that it ran a little better with a different ignitor. i have checked the leads, they all seem to be fine, i was told to run some injector cleaner through my fuel, and use 98 octane which i have done except she's still running rough i have a VG30 turbo going on, looking into getting some gtr injectors, 040 and dif fuel pressure reg etc, and my computer has been remapped according to a mechanic friend? i dont know how he could tell, but yeah... so i was going to get it tuned with that, thanks for the info guys

Ive recently dropped my RB20 back into my 32 and she is running a little rough.. i have cleaned up and changed alot of things to help make it run smoother but its still sounding like a subaru lol, i think im just avoiding the fact that it really needs a tune So ive looked around the forum and i cant seem to find anything direct, but i was looking for the best place in PERTH to get my RB20 tuned and for the best price with the best service can anybody direct me? thanks guys

to eliminate my hicas problem, i went with the lockbar in the rear then changed my whole front end power steering setup my rb20 had all the original pump and hicas lines etc, so i removed everything and changed my front rack to S13 (for better lock apparently, was told same effect could be acheived with an R33 p/s rack) but still changed my resevior to S13 (as 32 has 4 outlets for rear hicas lines) and i changed my p/s pump to an RB25 pump and used a combination of S13 lines and 33 RB25 lines to hook up the rack to pump to resevior no leaks, no problems

i agree that there are alot of 2door and 4door 32's with vertex kits around.. which is why im thinking about going with the BN sports kit another question; would GTR front guards go with widebody and a BN sports kit do you think? just trying to make it look as wide and as fat as possible

hey need the help of somebody who has an engine crane in the perth area? i have my RB20 sitting there and i have no way of getting it back into my R32 it kills me to have it sitting there and i cant drive it!! just need a little help, as i dont have the crane cheers

hey guys, just wondering if anybody would be able to help me swap my R32 power steering rack for the S13 one i have. I wouldnt know where to start, it seems so complicating, and i wouldnt want to break anything. I was told the S13 rack will give me more lock, also i went with the S13 resevior because the standard R32 one has the 4 lines, the extra 2 for the rear hicas... when the S13 one has just the two. I have the hicas lockbar in place. cheers

Well i recently bought myself an R32 Sedan, its missing its driveline and running gear atm because the previous owner decided to take it out with the intention of respraying the entire car.. he didnt quite get around to it, so here i am, stuck with my shell and wondering how i would like it to turn out like when i am finished i know a couple of people with the same model skyline and they have different body kits, im just not sure which one is the best for me. so far ive seen a Vertex body kit, BN body kit with wide body guards (which im leaning towards) and the normal stock kit which i am stuck with any ideas as to which body kit suits the R32 GTSt Sedan the best, or show me what else is out there!? thanks guys

thanks mate also, i meant to say does the R32 sedan stock suspension fit the R32 coupe?

hey guys had an offer on some coilovers for my 1989 R32 Sedan, the only thing is they are from an R32 coupe and as far as i know its a gtst also.. also if the stock suspension from an R32 sedan fits in an R32 gtst sedan? just wanted to know if they fit so we can go ahead with the swap.. cheers

thanks for the advice guys, ill definaltey follow it up looking for something a little closer to home tho, as i live SOR and the car is not running, so it'll need to be towed to wherever i end up going to get this done and id want it done all in one go, but ive heard a bit about tenagah will def shop around for the best deal

Can anybody help me or guide me in the right direction of a decent garage or import specialist who could maybe help me with getting my RB20DET engine, gearbox and driveline put back into my R32? I dont have the garage space nor the knoledge to drop my engine into my R32, so i need to find me some help! Also of any good places i could go to get some cheap second hand parts and upgrades in the perth area, i am new to the import scene and would appreciate some help Let me know, thanks guys

White 1989 Nissan Skyline R32 Sedan, full shell with ALL running gear and registered. Car was stripped by previous owner with intention of re-spraying the entire car. I picked it up as a shell a few months ago, have started to put the body back together, re-sprayed the engine bay gloss white to match car and removed sound ending. Basically needs the engine and running gear dropped back in to make her run again. Car comes with everything you will need, including dash and interior components which were all taken out when i did the sound ending. This car is still REGISTERED and has about 3 months rego left on it. Running Gear: RB20DET engine with 160XXXkm's on the clock and good compression rate RB25 turbo RB20 manual gearbox RB25 power steering pump S13 power steering rack (uninstalled) S13 resevior Front mount intercooler Apexi air flow meter Blitz pod filter Driveline Diff Ecu Radiator Other parts included: Stock body kit 2x R32 GTR rims 2x R32 Stockies 2x R33 Stockies with new tyres Cant think of anything else at the moment, but it has everything to get it back on the road. Basically havent got the garage space nor time to complete this project, so im handing it on to someone who has.
