Reading that according to your profile your 18 years old and you own a GTS-t (read RB25) I think if you want 800hp out of this engine and being that old your going to have to sell some body parts.

Does anyone know anything about the Tisonics alarm? I have an FT 1007 installed in my skyline and i just went to turn the alarm off and nothing happened. The led in the controller flashes but the car does not unlock. Even my spare keys do not work. The alarm was installed when i bought the car so i don't know who to ask about it. Please help, now I have a very expensive paper weight which I can't drive.

I paid $5000 for the respray on my Gemini. The prices vary a lot. Remember you get what you pay for. The cheap ($1500) resprays usually don't go back to bare metal or use 2 pak paint. That Chamelion paint is way way expensive. The price has probably come down but 4 years ago when i painted my car the chamelion paint was almost $1000 a litre. Thants just the paint. From memory my gem used about 4 or 5 liters.

I remember seeing a skyline sitting at JV's for ages and thinking to myself, I would not be happy with my car sitting out for that length of time. Sorry to hear bout your car. I agree with the consumer affair advice. The last thing we need is dodgy workshops.

I've actually been thinking about getting tinting for a while. Put me down for very interested depending on who does the job, how much, when they can do it, etc. Has any of this been decided?

I've decided its time to get a Power FC computer and electronic boost contoller. I'm not sure when to get them from. I'm in Adelaide by the way. Was thinking of ordering from Greenline (i think thats there name) but was a bit worried about buying something so expensive over the net. Does anyone know where I can get these things for a good price (Greenline quoted $1833 delivered.)

I am talking bout my stock gauge. I've heard a lot of people bag the stock gauge. Enrico who would you recommend?

I don't know anyone else with a skyline, or a turbo car for that matter.

The other day when I started my car I noticed the boost gauge was acting a little strange. With the car idiling the gauge was indicating just under 0. While driving when i lift my foot of the accelerator the gauge only drops to about a third of the way to the first line below 0. I am 99.9% sure it went down way further than that before. I also think the car may be a little down on power, but I may be pre occupied with the funny gauge and imaging the power loss. Any ideas?

After normal driving I take it easy for about 5 min before I get to my destination. When I get there I usually sit for 20 - 30 seconds and switch off. After spirited driving I let the turbo timer run, which is set for 2 min. My timer is connected to my alarm so I can turn the alarm on with the timer still going.

This may seam like a wierd question but what do you guys use to clean your windows. I have tried a few things but can't get the windows on my skyline looking clean. I use windex and a paper towel, they look good normally but if you get direct sun on them you can see the window is covered with streaks and no matter what I do I can never get rid of them. Also my skyline is really bad for this compared to the other cars ive owned. Any suggestions?

Dont know about a skyline but I had my Gemini re sprayed in to-pac and it cost me $5000. The vast majority being labour cost.

95 R33 with 75,000k's Only had it 6 weeks but totally love it.

Thanks guys it did include boost controller and hand controller but I think i'll be looking elsewhere.

I was recently quoted $4000 for supply and fit (including dyno tune) of a Power FC computer and boost controller. Is this a good price or should i look elsewhere.

I would like to replace the front speakers in my R33 and was wondering how to remove the door trim. Thought I would ask first before damaging it trying.

Sound familiar. My car blew a l/h headlight fuse not long after I bought it, easy fix though. When I was looking at buying it the owner told me that it had blown the l/h headlight globe a few times. Hmmmmmmmm

I had my Gemini re painted by a crash shop. It was a full bear metal too pac respray inside and out, including engine bay. Cant remember exactly how long it took, 3 months rings a bell. The total cost was $5000. Looks awsome though.

Just yesterday I was looking at my manifold and intake pipe wondering how i could polish them without it taking a couple of years. Details please!!

Thanks for the replies guys. Where do you get an engineer's certificate from? If i want to get the wheels approved does than mean they will go over the whole car or just check the wheels?
