i have had skylines (3 of em 1 gtr and 2 gtst's), and 300zx's and other cars, the 300zx is my favorite, and currently own one atm, i can actually find parts cheaper for the 300zx then skyline parts, and because they are big in the USA that means alot of very good cheap parts are available from the states! yes, they are a little crampes in the engine bay, looks more daunting then it actually is, but the engines imo are stronger then rb engines, and the cooling system is very sufficiant, never overheats as long as you maintain it, let it run into thr ground and you will have problems, same as any other car, but hey i would highly recommend her getting one! cant drive with your top off in the skyline either!

been there done that, when i moved from qld to nsw, i was out of work for 3 months with 2 skylines 30k+ in debt and no income in 3 months i was well over 4k behind in my repayments, just as soon as i was earning money again worked alot of o/t and pumped it all into my loan for liek 2 months got back infront of the repayments, a year and a bit later i was 8k in front, now ive gotten rid of that loan and brought more cars and once again infront, i think u learn from the first time!! i think i payed over 1g in excess charges for not being able to pay

yeh it is a top car, in very good nick with good mods, but havnt found much interest yet, kind of strange for a car going for 15k with over 30 spent

is it just me or do american vet drivers seem as dumb as australian hsv/fpv drivers;o lol ive seen vids of co6's getting beaten by 300zx's and turbo civics etc but yet they dont want to hear that any car can be better also about the comment saying that the gtr couldnt go anty quiker then 11.6 and 0-60mph faster, well the article did say it was just done on some random track/road with low grip surface, with street tyres, and also mentioned that it lost alot of traction before the awd kicked in to compensate, just imagine on a track with a full redline launch with slicks!

btw foamer throw a justjap fmic(600 for kit i think these days) on a rb20det, boost std turbo to 12-13psi, get rid of std plumback if it has it as they leak after about 9psi, new fuel pump, and get the ecu remapped you should make about 160-180kw at wheels

nope car is not laggy at all, however you can drive it around without use of turbo pretty much, but as soon as you put your foot down will reach full boost by 4500rpm, so shifting between gears, you are always on boost

the amp is worth no more then about $50 its a really outdated amp, most new amps can be run at lesser ohms, for example my earthquake phd5000 is 1500watt rms at 4 ohms, and can run at .5 ohms:o and this monster only cost me a little over 1 grand!
