  1. r32 turbos are bush bearing and have a metal rear and ceramic front, same as series 1 r33 turbo's, series 2 and on are full ceramic as for which ones are ballbearing? not sure, but i know r32 turbo's aint ballbearing standard, r32 turbos handle the most psi, followed by the r33 s1 turbo, fact being they have metal rear wheels and i can confirm this ive pulled shit of my car many times, ive even ran my stock turbo at 20 psi by accident for a few days and didnt realise and ran fine! lucky for my cooling, just waiting for my stock r32 turbo to die but it just dosnt seem to want to go! lol it has almost no shaft play! but that said.. the turbo in that pic has been high flowed, it has a twin metal front wheel, its not standard looks the same as what is sitting in my wardrobe which has a $1100 highflow done to it. meaning ballbearing and full steel wheels! so u should think about increasing tthe price son

  3. so a q45 would fit in better? mmm any other engines you would suggest? and i dont want another rb engine really. wanna try something different, i plan on keeping my gtst for a while so i wanna do something completely insane, but then again i dont wanna spend too much lets say under 8 thousand lol i could throw in a ca18de bet thats never been done in an r32 any way my 2 friends both have r32's gts's and this is my second one my first one was a 93 model with a factory rb25det and as for my mates ones... one has an rb25det with big fmic and a nice looking machine soon to have a powerfc go in and also a gt30/40 afaik my other mate has a rebuilt 20, with the work's o-ringed, forgies, ecu, over 20thou spent on the engine but he just blew his el cheapo chinese t4e and is gonna be putting in a better turbo.. he already had 250kw at wheels any ways i want something thats more special oh also about the available room in engine bay, i thort the extra room the r32 has at the front would be a bonus with the longer engine bay?

  17. well i just put my old turbo smart type 2 back on after not using it for a while was on my friends r32 gtst working fine up until 1-2 weeks before, so ive put it in mine and seems its not working, it just flutter out, ive tried loosening it all the way, and dosnt help, ive tried greasing it up and shit, umm only things ive changed, ive put in a boost controller and plumback since i used it last, but its hooked up exactly the same except theres a boost controller between blow off and the eccs, also using a big tri piece and bigger piping for the vacuum, could this be the problem? please help
  18. my old r32 gtst supposidly had an rb25det, it looked slightly diff to my new 89 model, and it went alot harder then my 89 model does, i.e my old one was as fast as my new one with only 10 psi, while my new one with an fmic, bigger fuel pump, better exhaust, 13psi isnt that much faster, and my old engine looked exactly the same as that except it had the cover over the coil packs, and didnt have a high mount turbo etc, was all standard
