  1. ive gotten the fmic mounted into the front, took me my brother and a mate about 40 mins including cutting the front bar, wasnt to hard after buying some brakets from a hardware place, and making it fit , now all i need to do is cut a hole in the sidewall under the battery to fit my piping through, any suggestions on how i should go about this?

  3. sounds similar to what my car was doing ages ago, i slid the rear end into the gutter at a fair speed and bent in the rear wheel, as in the bottom of the wheel went in more towards the centre of the car then the top, and this caused it to wobble when i hit bumps, i would say that maybe u have damaged ur control arm.

  6. ive chopped up my standard gtst piping and welded it together for ma front mount, can i have this electro plated? how much u reckon or how much to get it powder coated, cause my fmic is chrome lol

  10. i just brought my new cooler 450x300x78 or whatever it is and decided i was going to install it on the weekend. i got a headache looking at it as me and my friends did not know where to start few things were harder then they looked, was hoping the cooler would mount strait up to where the front kit mounts up, but the 2 places on the cooler where the bolts mount in sit in more then the kit wholes and i couldnt really see any where to mount, i checked out my friends one his mounting whole is in the middle of his cooler and had it mounted with a triangle bracket, any ideas how i could mount mine its one of tyhe just jap coolers. oh and any idea how much it would be just to get it put in at any shops in sydney? i have the cooler, all piping 2.5inch off my friends old set up off a similar sized cooler that was a tad smalled and thinner, all i need is reducers from the cooler to piping. and brakets to mount the cooler, any suggestions would be much appreciated

  12. looks pretty much the same with a few little asphetic changes.. still dont like it, needs to be wider and lower and look more beefier as a whole car
  13. yeah, mate, you should do that, it would be really good he wanted a powerfull rb20, he now has a powerfull rb20. you would be surprised how much money was actually spent. Either way, were you going to give some advice? thats why we started this thread. oh- and the to4 is new or...hasnt been used. is there anything that he could have missed? thx guys.

  15. the to4e should be good for 160 kw@ 24 psi i thought, has anyone had experience with these turbos?
  16. gtr injectors,and yeah-the to4 will b good for 1.5 bar, yeah got cam gears,std camshaft. he will be changing other things over time. "Also what have you done in the way of rod bolts for the std rods?" umm nothing i know of, any advice would be greatfull though, just need to know what else is necessary, rods? crankshaft?

  18. is it just me or did u say u have a stock fuel pump? if you do u need a bigger fuel pump, also cam gears and some pulleys wouldnt go astray
  19. couldnt u just fill ur tank with 98 octane fuel and throw in 2 bottles of octane booster and get that ron rating?
  20. after a fair bit of money spent this is how a project is going after an engine shitting itself and being rebuilt rb20det polished balanced o-ringed arias pistons - taken out 20 tho better valve springs had the head machined copper head gaskets - billent adjustable cam gears going in oil catch can high mount exhaust manifold to4e turbo 700x300x78 fmic 3" piping 38mm wastegate pod filter bosch 040 fuel pump- might change 3" turbo back exhaust - wolf 3d series 4 ecu with this set up wat kinda power can be expected? any suggestions on anthing missed? there has been alot of money spent so far as you can see on the list, any help would be greatly appreciated
  21. reply's sent, i wont go any lower then this, the car is very clean, the body is a little rough, but only minor things, the interior is the best ive seen, and suspension, gear box, engine is all tight, feels very good to drive, seriously first to drive it will buy it, it hasnt been thrashed and u can feel it when u drive it and when u look at it inside, its very well taken care of
