  1. This. Fly is an isolation. Do it before bench. Feel the burn
  2. This I don't fully agree with. I used to train this way, but now find it is more effective to do isolation first. Think about it, training chest? Try starting with incline pec fly, then incline bench, then decline fly, decline bench (or dips) cable cross overs (upper then lower) and throw biceps in at the end. This way you can totally destroy your chest without your triceps or shoulders giving in mid session. Then train shoulders and triceps a few days later on their own. Not saying there isn't more then one way to train, but mixing it up helps.
  3. Yea, I did notice that the stock boost with just an exhaust was 17psi in the 7 that I drove. Was a fun vehicle though. And they build boost from so low down in the rev range. Very snappy.
  4. Interesting. The evo 7 that I drov I seem to rememeber it having fairly tall gears.
  5. Pharmacist I believe? amirite? edit: Princess beat me to it.
  6. Water temp sensor? Engine out?
  7. Just remembered I've been waiting to see these results. Any progress here yet?
  8. Ummm..... What? Hahaha. Must be a interesting gym you go to? Do they sell them at the counter? Or free sample on sign up?
  9. Lol, yea the vac line is tee'd into the boost controller line.
  10. But dyno sheets help us tell how the car drives! It's an important part of selling a car, how else are we going to be able to tell how it behaves on the road?
  11. I'm with you on that. That guy is a f**king idiot. It sucks that we all shit canned in the same group as him.
  12. thanks for digging up an old thread
  13. spend $30 on a turbo tech manual controller, and spend the money you saved on other mods.
  14. I used carby cleaner. That clr stuff would be fine as long as it isn't petroleum based
  15. Here's the read up that I followed. cleaning lifters.docx
  16. I think new lifters are around the $100 a pop sort of mark... (X24) the one that you can't get apart though, have you poked a pin into the ball on one end as you're pulling them apart? I found that a lot of them didn't need this, but some did. Once mine were all done and refilled with oil they wouldn't come apart unless pushing that ball in. wait, reread your post. Have you got the telescoping part out of the middle yet? Or is it still as it was when it came out of the head?
  17. upon my first read I would have assumed AFM or fuel pump. The idle issue does sound more like a leak in a vacuum line or intake (BOV) though. Most likely not an O2 sensor though, as they only lean out fuel mixtures when cruising..... I was having some dodgy shit going on with my car cutting in and out at rpm and load, and it was the AFM, it wasn't hunting around on idle like that though, thus why a vacuum leak would make sense .
  18. f*ken ouch!
  19. You don't need a laptop, just replace the tacho with a "danger to manifold" warning light. Fixed
  20. location? I'm interest in rods and pistons if you're in brisbane
  21. postage stamp was clearly his swap offer for your car
  22. Mate, read that thread, it isn't a thread about jim berry or race pace. It's a thread about what clutches people are using and what they're thoughts are. And the other point of posting that link was to raise your awareness of the different section that is dedicated to drivetrain and transmission related questions. You're welcome.
  23. Try dirvetrain and transmission thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/103268-need-a-new-clutch/
  24. Rain-x Works wonders
