  1. There is plenty of miss information in the ptc articles as well mate, one of the reasons I don't find them a good read. Each to their own though. If you find them useful, that's tops. There is some good info in there, but also plenty of useless opinions a well.
  2. Yes, I would agree that diet is far more important. Steady cardio is "very" effective though. I'm not even going to bother reading that PTC article as I'm not a fan of his preaching. As for steady cardio to remove muscle: You actually need to be doing high intensity cardio for a very long period of time for your body to start breaking down muscle as a source of energy. Far more intense and prolonged then most people are capable of. I agree that this could turn into a huge argument or pissing contest. To be perfectly honest I couldn't be stuffed going there. I think that lower BMR may make it harder to lose weight as you have less to lose. And agreed, Tabata is a great way to train, though not all the time. It needs to be thrown in as a mix up to keep the body guessing. End of rant
  3. Sorry mate, but that is a fairly irrelevant example. How many marathon runners do you know that are doing weights? None. Because they are trying to be small so they don't have to carry as much bulk for their 42km run. Cyclist however have huge legs because they need them to power them through their race. The idea of cardio is not to build muscle, but to strengthen the heart and burn fat, Steady rate cardio for extended periods of time is very effective for this. As are many other things.
  4. bump Also I forgot to post that i have a Turbosmart Vee Port bov with a fitting to bolt onto the standard rb style flange. Looking for $150. It's black, I'll take photos upon request.
  5. Or you could also just source some s15 silvia injectors. 480cc and I would think they're not to hard to come by in the states?
  6. Hahaha Buy with confidence!
  7. This is a for sale section champ, wanted to buy section is over here
  8. Just checking here mate, Are you doing any proper back training?
  9. There is a thread from simon 32 about a good cheap turbo that he got onto. I think from memory they are called kendo turbos. He has used a t66 with excellent results on a rb25. It was a fairly recent thread. Should only be a few pages in.
  10. I agree. Way to many WTB ads have been popping up in the for sale section lately. It's getting somewhat annoying.
  11. XR6T has a 1.06 housing, and internally gated. And t3 pretty sure
  12. This. That's a good offer from status. I believe that the Status tune will pretty much be the base map with far less aggressive timing, since timing is the thing that makes an untuned PFC unsafe.
  13. Disadvantage would be light throttle modulation would be some what crappy.
  14. Ah crap, slow reply from me. Yea, I can post at buyers expense. I would prefer pick up though. I'm not sure about cost for posting an item that size. although it isn't very heavy I guess... I'll try and suss it out for you tomorrow champ. If I get a chance that is.
  15. Have a few things sitting around my garage causing clutter. 1. r32 gtst spoiler, in black. in fair condition. Selling as I prefer my car with out it attached. $40 2. RB25gtst series 1 AFM. Removed due to me upgrading my turbo about 6 months ago and changing to a Z32 at the same time. Was working when removed. $50 3. Standard r32 air box. Has a high flow panel filter in it. I think it's a K&N from memory. $80 4. RB25gtst Series 1 Standard CPU. Came with my car, have never used it though because the car already had a PFC in it. $60 5. R33 electronic speed signal sender. I upgraded to an RB25det gearbox in my r32 and have no use for the speed sender. $50 All prices are negotiable. Mostly would prefer pick up as postage and so in a hassle. Located on north side of Brisbane at Chermside. To contact me just pm me or post in here. cheers Jock
  16. Pretty sure the main difference is that gtr have a different thread, ie. gtr are 12mm and gtst are 10mm I think that is the only difference, but could be wrong.....
  17. Wrong section champ, post in the "wanted to buy" section. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Wanted-Buy-f13.html
  18. This thread delivers the lulz! Handy because the wasteland hasn't been delivering them as much as usual today.
  19. series 1 and 2 rb25det's have side feed injectors mate. Neo's have top feed, as do rb26's. That's all the people are trying to say.
