  1. also how did you come up with the 8.5:1? usually big profile cams like you have lowers compression so if it wasnt calculated correctly the compression could even be lower then you think. just anther thought.
  2. most prople making that power have a bit higher compression ratio maybe.. im at 9.5:1 needs more boost
  3. for sale: R33 GTSt RB25DET 98% complete cylinder head with the following: Hks step 1 inake camshaft - not even 700klms on this unknown (tomei) exhaust camshaft VCT cam gear for intake external VCT supply feed line from remote (braided) standard springs & valves MISSING 2 CAM CAP COVERS this head is currently in pieces in boxes, i can arrange to have the head serviced and assembled if needed for a extra charge. looking for $1000 as is Location southwest Sydney NSW Pictures will be up by the weekend.

  9. im getting my Rb25 head converted to solids.. the full kit fitted ready to go will cost you around $3000.. im sick of the ticking noise that came and went... if i didnt already have manidolfds/ECU etc i would have a rb26 head on this one..

Hi Guys, i am selling my complete RB25 Top mount turbo kit, it was tuned 5 weeks ago and made 390rwkw's on 24psi (E85). the reason im selling is im doing a Solid lifter conversion on the head and have a new GTX35 sitting here i would like to try on this set up. i have a ATP T4 rear housing so cant use the manifold ether. it comes with the following. 1/ Genuine garrett GT35R BB with .82 T3 Vband rear housing. done less then 5000klms. still has pen & texter marks on the blades. turbo has elbow for intercoooler pipe welding on. 1/ Stainless Steel Top mount Manifold, it has been braced with extra brackets to help support it to stop cracking. 1/ 50mm External Wastegate with screamer pipe & a option to run screamer back into the dump. 1/ 3 inch dump pipe from turbo to cat with V band clamp everythingis basically bolt on. Location Liverpool NSW Can Post Aus wide a buyers expense! Price $2300.00 ONO need it gone as i have the other parts on order SMS ME on 0423 883 601 as im rarley on here anymore..
  16. GTX35R with 0.82 rear housing on my RB2530 hits full boost (24psi) at around 4400rpm some of the results for the GTX shows its not as responsive as first thought but the real gains over the GT35R are above 25psi
  17. we remade the mounts to get the engine as low as possible. all you need is a case of bear a engine crane and two keen monkeys. just tac the mounts into place you may need a custom sump or in my case a dry sump. bonnect clearance is not a problem on mine.
  18. since i have changed the setup with the drain back most of the excess oil seems to be draining back into the sump. though if i hold it though a few gears i'll get around 200mls out of the breather of the catch can. its alot better then the 2 litres i lost before
  19. have you heard of anyone fitting a vaccum pump to prevent this?
