what year? 1996 onwards had the single as far as i know?? i could be wrong. but they did go to a single turbo setup at some stage. My mate with a mk3 supra sourced one for an engine swap but he couldn't get the $$ for it at the time.

nope the orignal version of that engine (mk3 supra and soarer) had the twin turbo's. in later model cars ie the jzx100 they dropped the two small turbos for a single larger one. its more responsive and less laggy aparently.

thats a jzx90 ultimatley your after the jzx100 tourerV markII. it has the manual (optional, rare, mainly autos) 2.5 single turbo engine.

yay for the keen eyed the yellow stuff on the black pipe is the insulation stuff under the bonnet. th paint wasn't completly dry when they shut it r well. the poor sod who i screwed might even get his $$$ soon as i get payed tomorrow. Jay the cold air partition is in but isn't a great fit with k&N pod. but its still stopping some of the hot air so its better than nothing.

whos the happy chappy me coola is in, cars goes hard now real hard!!!! *big silly grin* my dodgy bleed setup is abit laggy now only getting 7psi to 3500rpm then she kicks in and holds the 10psi all the way to 7000rpm. where as before i was getting 10psi at 3000rpm and holding it to 6500rpm. once it hits the 3500 it hits and the car pulls really hard. can't wait to get it to the strip. plus throttle response is 100% better apply throttle and instead of going good it now goes real good. pics

mine are due i think. the mech's say its tem or just the noise from my tyres on the road. anyways how big a job is it and what should it cost me to have them replaced?

Slayer - i got the coola from one of the WA guys who was selling it. he didn't need it anymore. Its a 600x300x60 core (brand new made by the people who make the intercoola's for the Rivoli WRX's) with custom R33 GTR style end tanks. basically a new coola for half the price.

try an insurance broker if your having troubles with insurance. you should be able to score at least a 20% no claim bonus at your age so that should make it alittle cheaper

well they still have to change the legislation. at present camera's have to be in plan view and have the sign after wards saying u have been through a speed trap. its a loop hole they have yet to fix and will need to if they plan on hiding the camera's

hey Ric for plugs try these NGK BCPR7ES there copper gapped at 0.8mm and extra cold (or something means they work better with more boost.) can get them from marlows, auto 1, repco etc. about 4 bucks each and last for 20,000km or you can ask for the NGK iridiums that are equivalent to the coppers above. they will cost about $20-25 each and last about 100,000-120,000km.
