Righto heres the deal. You wave till midnight April 30th to vote. Then the name with the most votes from both forums wins. This way everyone gets a chance to voice there opinion, hopefully get more people involved. So get in now have your say, no complaining when the name is finalised. Place your vote and make it count. If it turn out to be a name you don't want i'm sorry but for things to work it has to be majority rules, yes i assume this will upset some people. The main thing is that we will have a club, a group of like minded people who share an interest in Skylines. PS any posts not on topic will be deleted.

Yes i have info from Ant, members form, charter, intro letter and membership database. From my knowledge, URMINE and myself have already got info from ministry of fair trading, and I have Cams Info. We just need to nut out the name, being done on both sites starting tomorrow. the Charter/Constitution will be a task for next week. When these two things are done we can register (have to advertise in a paper before applying, either a month or week) the lodge the paper work and see if your accepted or rejected. If accepted its offical just have to set up the committee, jet the members in and paid up all detials on file bank account setup and search out sponsers.

u can tell ur insurance company what they said since its them that will be getting paid. They will soon be sending around court documents if they stuff around to much.

the jackel cool info there we have most of those ideas floating around somewhere. Please add more if you can. By the middle of next week we will have some solid information to present everyone. A couple of us are getting information packs from the relevant government agencies.

i have fair tradings, Cams example and SDU's all are very similar but worded slightly different.

well i think i will start a new name poll tomorrow with the three names on both sites let it run a week and go with the winner? all agreed with this. in the mean time we can sort the charter/constitution out as that has to be handed in as part of registration of the incorperation/association. i have two 3 at home will post later tonight, if anyone else has one they think may work please post a copy.

plainly it was easier to delete the whole thread, u guys got it down to about 23-24 posts 20 of which where the funnier sort. as for the name your point is valid. tell the other aussies there and see what they say. i'm trying poorly to keep it democratic. i think its cause they know the forum the name and they idenify with it, so thats why they don't want to change. for those ppl we can still be our own club, whatever the name and have an affiliation with sdu. just out of curiosity if we put the names SAU, NAS and SDU on a poll on both sites and SDU won when combined would u live with it or not join? As stated b4 for it to work its gota be a majority thing.

I have nothing against the fun threads there really funni to read, it just stuffs up the serious threads. So if we can refrain from doing it in the serious threads (ie setting up the club, fatal car crash etc) that would be kewl

all the news members is making the server slower to by the looks its sluggish as all hell at work today.

The Poll thread was removed as it was suppose to be a serious and u guys stuffed that up. URMINE, SDU4EVA, HUSTLR let ppl have there say, in a serious unbiased way. From the SDU forum it seems most ppl want to keep SDU as the name or they want join. We need the numbers to make this successful. Two or three people making decissions and then saying this is how its gonna work is why the NZ club went down hill. I will put the poll up again if you will behave, this goes to everyone. Think me a nazi if you want but trying to organise this thing takes time, and when ppl constantly muck around, it makes u wonder if its worth it.

maybe we should start poll thread in the Aus section on SDU. As i'm redy to put the paper work in for WA/Aus if we can make it national. Just have to sort out the CAMS issue first.

i put the amp next to the battery under the parcel shelf. theres room, if u want to move the battery from the factory location and install to 10" subs in that space. or you can put a false floor in and have two 12's in the tyre well. lots of ways to do it. good luck.
