Bahahahaah! [emoji122][emoji23] Borg vs -5 Internet racing championship. *can't see ya rev gauge properly, I liked the other angle close up. Looked like you stabbed it at 2k? Or 1k? -

Well to be fair to your setup and rule out your restrictive 3 inch downpipe just leave it at 17 18 and we'll do that. It won't make a difference to response on my setup as closed loop boost control doesn't start working till it hits a predetermined boost level anyway -

No worries how about 3rd gear from 1000 RPM full throttle to Red Line? And a log to confirm? -

At this stage it's only really standing out in terms of response it feels even better again as yesterday she got it's first oil change from the run in oil and put some light Grade 10/40 in there and it is a little bit snappier again. Everything I put in the car was just there to optimise throttle response and to encourage fast spooling. If it hurts my 600whp target on E85 im cool with that as it's not hard to change out some cams and springs as my head has been relieved already to fit high lift ones if needed. -

Im a bit skeptical of the white R32 GTR in the YouTube clip it has been up for quite a while and in the comments I'm sure I read that it made that 500 wheel horsepower with standard R32 downpipes off the turbos which he said was robbing him of response. It's hard comparing other people's set ups to your own unless you know full detailed specs especially when the engine could even be breathing heavy low on comp all sorts of issues could be there that we don't know about so it's probably best that you stick to comparing your engine to something like my own which I know has been freshly Built and I know the details inside out just need to rule out all variables for accurate comparisons. There is no way I reckon that thing would ever on a standard 2.6 low compression or even a built engine make that Power on such little boost on petrol. It is interesting to note he's only producing 5psi compared to my 20psi @ 3700rpm and I also start making positive boost @ 1500rpm in 4th on flat road. So I believe him that he has the downpipes robbing him of response but that horsepower number at the wheels is a little bit inflated I reckon. -

I'll get another dyno run done on this pump tune of mine out of curiosity , as my first dyno tune was over 1000rpm laggier than my current tune at 18psi when set to 25psi. (Someone else tuned it as we needed load on the fresh engine) Cool vids too I enjoyed watching them all [emoji4][emoji108] -

Will do definitely at some stage last time I went to Wakefield in my last Gtr I ended up spending the whole day in rear wheel drive ripping skids with the gtst boys got some footage of it somewhere. But I think my first track day in this car will be at the creek as I know the creek really well from many bike sessions I've done over the years I've only been to Wakefield once so I'd be useless there and besides my car still uses completely stock brakes they're not the greatest I think we all know that but for the most part it's just my streetcar / daily nothing serious just a fun car. -

I think these early stages before you go water/meth and before I go e85 it would be good to see some more positive results from your setup. I would expect it to run away from my set up in terms of power especially in the 5000 upward region but I'm personally only interested in what your setup is doing up to 4-4500rpm mark as I shift my car on the street usually at 4000 RPM now that my engine can consume a lot of boost much prior to this. hopefully you can remove your "bottlenecks" and we can do some more comparisons as we have very similar setups in *similar engine *cams *no vct *standard intercooler *internal gate I genuinely hope it all pans out for you as you planned and for what it's worth I hope you whip my result big time because it's a serious turbo[emoji41][emoji111] And yes this is my daily and birds do shit on it. Was a small bit of sarcasm in relation to me laying the tuner term around quite thick.? Sarcasm is hard to pull off though in text when nobody knows you. -

Harris your log starts at 0map indicating at tps of 100% but you really should show tps on logs as manifold pressure can show a lot of boost at 50% throttle on these itb engines. *Was referring to the 6:45 to just shy of 6:57 which is 12 seconds @ 5th gear log making 18.1 psi. You will notice the actual time on my logs is way shorter indicating no foul play from brake boosting and the like. Your 2nd log Try using the same boost points as me so we don't have to mentally interpolate between pressures causing us to guess. Not sure why image links are broken?? -
