Ok slow down, your confusing me with what your calling the bracket and the cradle. Also, the picture i have shown in my previous post shows the highest point which the fuel pump will go on the cradle, having the top of the fuel pump touching the solid fuel line on the cradle. Will i need to modify my cradle?

the new pump sits a lot lower than the original pump did on the cradle. I cant get it on the bracket at all.. it seems like the pump is hitting the bottom of the tank. I've tried almost every angle possible. but no luck.
