HMMMM cant manage the get the fuel pump any higher up on the cradle than shown.

Hmm i fitted mine lower. Ill try re-do it now.

Hey guys, recently having followed this tutorial: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/To...20&start=20 in order to install a bosch 040 in my r33 s2, I've come across the problem of not being able to get the pump cradle to clip back onto the bracket. It seems as if the pump is hitting the bottom of the fuel tank and the cradle clip cannot get to the bracket. I've tried various ways to position the pump in the tank but no luck! I'm a bit confused as many people have installed bosch 040s on r33s in the past?! Has anyone experienced this problem? Help Please, I'm running out of ideas. Thanks.

yer im having trouble gettin the whole thing to fit up bak to the cradle...

ok having trouble getting the pump cradle back onto the bracket. it seems like the 040 is hitting the bottom of the tank and wont let the cradle hook onto the bracket! HELP MEEEEE

hmm? just mount it as high up as you can, securing it with 2 hose clamps.

as for your question, i beleive the skyline will win. The civic type R is not too much lighter than the r33 and wont have nearly as much power, i beleive they make 125-130fwkw in stock form and correct me if im wrong an r33 with the mods listed would make around 150rwkw?

I dont think thats true.. hondas aren't that great off the mark(except s2000) because they are FWD and those with powerful fwds will know what im talking about. i know this is a lil off topic but my mate has a STOCK b18 crx and my skyline with a few mods would eat his dust over 100kms, but has it over him at the take off.

For wiring sake. Is the wire with the green stripe on it positive or negative? Im replacing the terminals now and forgot to take note of which way they went. Thanks.

Yer, so will rewiring the fuel pump be necessary as it is in an r32? Will the same process be used to do so? I went out and bought all the wiring already...
