  1. this is a cool conversion, always wondered how this platform would go with a non LS v8 conversion. Been a few in the USA who start putting VK v8s in but never finish them.
  2. The 2x3 bolt drive shafts are s13 Will have to measure my tailshaft but is probably s13 too
  3. Selling my R230 diff from a 300zx TT Axles are similiar to gtr 6 bolt Not separating anything Pick up Eastern Heights QLD $1200
  4. Easy to do as Duncan has said. our tuner needs to enable ARC feature pack which is around $100-150 on top of your original Uprev licence which allows 5 maps, basic igntion table tuning table and various other features (burnout mode and Launch control). Syvecs do a plug in and is around $6k plus install & tune. Can control the auto box.
  5. What bolt axle do you have 2x3 or 5x1? 5x1 is the better design. How low is the car and what angle are the axles at? What was the condition of the axle? plenty of people running the standard gear with a lot of power & semi slicks. Best upgrade is the 350z but will require a diff swap and I think a hub swap to suit the outer splines similiar to gtr.
  6. Something like this would have to be used https://www.dakotadigital.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=886/mode=prod/prd886.htm Or maybe retro fit just the r33 speedo into r32 cluster.
  7. Insurance on a modified import is ridiculous. I was quoted almost $1500 a year and driving maybe once a fortnight, car stored in a shed behind a fence. I just didn't insure my sil80 anymore as I didn't drive it in peak hours and only to a few certain places. Some companies also won't insure modified vehicles for just 3rd party too.
  8. Targa give refunds 😂 Yeah hopefully once everything has calmed down and reviewed they will come up with better procedures for rallysafe & incidents. Having to always check speed is dangerous but at least stuff with efi/after market ecu can set limits.
  9. New sporting & technical Regs will be out in January so will see. I suspect a lot of the classic GT cars will have they wings clipped. They have already capped speed at 200kph but it how fast the top cars get there & maintain it is one issue I see. At Targa GBR last year there were lots of RTZ to slow us down and to avoid cars jumping crests too. Most drivers also don't do much driving throughout the year. I wonder if Rallysafe is testing their gear in these locations as seems to be a lot of drop outs. Did they do any more detailed briefing on rallysafe?
  10. Welcome, thats a good collection of cars. Any plans for them in the future?
  11. How were you going with it before it was cancelled? Great effort to make it to the event, hopefully its not the last competitive one. Been interesting watching all the commentary/opinions on facenovel.
  12. Thats a mates kit. He never ran it on his r32 as always changing engine setups, now onto his 2nd billet block. Its cool in an old school way but if you have something modern ready to go I would try that first. Another big twin kit https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1337571193401182/?ref=search&referral_code=marketplace_search&referral_story_type=post&tracking=browse_serp%3A6c394186-c690-400d-bad5-86120d84c9a7
  13. Enjoy the read there's a few years worth of stuff @Dose Pipe Sutututu it does look better than an M3 😜
  14. you need a laptop with windows vista or Xp and a serial port. Cleaning the Wideband sensor will have killed it 1 Lambda is Afr 14.7 on petrol and .8 lambda is Afr 11.7 There is no cold start valve, IAC will allow more air to pass at start up. As stated will need to connect to ecu for sensor data but due to EMS being closed for so long, hard to find software and older laptop probably up for a whole new ecu setup. Depends where located a decent shop may have something to access ecu, I know I do.
  15. IAT or TPS would be my thinking or "Was running fine than I replaced this and that now it has an issue"
  16. What diagnosis did you do to determine faulty fuel pump? Adjusting the reg that low will cause problems. go back and... set fuel base pressure to 45psi install fresh plugs Connect to the ecu Check to see if all connected sensors to ecu are giving correct readings If not replace faulty sensor Idle afr should be around 14.7 doesn't have to be exact. If this is beyond your skill set find a decent shop to look at it and sort it
  17. Was a friends car. It did have ar1's, mca reds & a fixed back so not really comparable to a stock one but great to drive. Lift off over steer was interesting.
  18. No definitely pump as only thing I didn't replace and shimming helped a bit. Engines out again and new oil pump ordered. Will check mains while apart for any damage. I've had my entry for Mt Morgan Hill climb accepted so need this sorted and do testing with new suspension before it.
  19. Time to move then, sell up and buy up here you'll make money & have change for the BMW
  20. Had the sil80 out a few weeks ago for some 1/8th mile drags at Lakeside. Car is hard to launch and just spins but once gets traction in 3rd is a jet. Clutch was not engaging properly after 2-3 back to back runs and gearbox wasn't very smooth either. Been filming heaps lately and putting on YouTube. Shed deposit is paid and should start early July
  21. When out next try rat pack coffee x2, 1 sugar, half tube sweetened condensed into a water bottle before bed and leave out over night when cold makes good iced coffee. I drove an m3 last year on track and it was great to drive but did lack character and after driving the a90 for a day, it was alright but it was also modified (MCA reds, Ns2r, dump pipe & tune) again lacked that bit of character. Driving the 90s Japanese stuff is fun they aren't perfect but drive well and make all the right noises. He needs both the r33 & bmw 😁
  22. How good is coffee. I can't do instant at home only when camping sometimes if I didn't take enough ground stuff. I have the newer model of that machine probably due to do some maintenance after 3 years. So when you heading to Wakefield? Afterwards get a for sale ad up with the whole story, some kid will throw BMW money at you and you can enjoy what you have been wanting.
  23. Are you able to get alloy spacer/adapter with orings for where injectors sit so it seals better like when doing top feed upgrade on non Neo's?
  24. Damn, what's the plan cd*** or t56/6060 upgrade? If not contact Neat Gearbox they seem to be the go to shop for gearbox rebuilds now. Planning to fix it and run goldrush?
