A few friends run them in production car sprints & hill climbs. Seem to be pretty good thing and cheaper than an M2/3/4 flappy paddle, farting gearshift thing.

Bosch 82mm DBW Throttle Body - School me
robbo_rb180 replied to TurboTapin's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Without getting the genuine hose there is no way. I tried different silicone hoses & clamps. The lip isn't that big, barely there. other option is make a bracket that bolts to the intercooler pipe & pick up one of the TB bolts -
Either rebuild what you have by @hypergear, find a second hand set or 2860-9 upgrade.

Aeroflow Teflon stuff 200/250 series is what I've been using for years and not had issues with it. Their sleeving has done well too -
Where in Sydney can I buy a set over tein coilovers
robbo_rb180 replied to King dong's topic in New South Wales
https://mcasuspension.com/product-category/vehicle/nissan/skyline/r33/ Swapped my teins for MCA stuff almost 7 years ago, 1000x nicer to drive I had the teins from brand new too. -
Rb25 swapped 180 ac unit
robbo_rb180 replied to Jackabo's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
will be a custom job then, also look at replacing the s13 condenser with something newer as I had heating issues with s13 one even with 40mm rad, ducting, 12 and 14 inch fans on it. I have looked at small truck cab condensers to put where factory side mount would go to help. -

Try Cooldrive/JAS/Baxters or buy some newer need a custom bracket. Factory one is best as can use a mix of s13 & r33 lines for it. Replace the drier & orings while apart as its easy. Is it the clutch or has it seized? -
My R34 GTT Auto, various questions.
robbo_rb180 replied to Draimond's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
If you want a hand with it send me a message. I do aftermarket ecu install, setup & wiring and will be going full time with it around September once new shed is built. -

Heres an alternate to the other trigger kits and many of us are using it with great success and is 1/4 the price https://www.nzwiring.com/index.php/product/trigger-kit/ Nistune does not support other Trigger setups Haltech elite can control automatic gearbox now already A340 & GM box support. Setup as a generic auto gearbox. Will need a patch/custom loom made & setup will need some testing. Or buy aftermarket controller but haltech would be the go with a 2500 and do drive by wire and setup cruise control too -
MLR's Bogan cruise ship
robbo_rb180 replied to The Bogan's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Stay away from aeroflow pumps. Even a dealer told me too 😅 TI automotive 460L or Bosch Use a factory pump as lift pump. Remember to factor in a fuel regulator too as factory one is part of the hanger. -

Oh no, Look at this style of surge tank, use intank pump so its quiet. https://www.google.com/search?q=aeroflow+surge+tank&client=ms-android-samsung-ss&prmd=sivn&sxsrf=APq-WBsHEvuII6rgvxRKkmAgpu8MAUeS-Q:1648849900760&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjblf3E7PP2AhUW4HMBHUaSCeoQ_AUoAnoECAIQAg&biw=384&bih=718&dpr=2.81#imgrc=mxaTVdDSkCZJtM -
New engine harness options for 260RS
robbo_rb180 replied to Unclerico's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
best bet would be a custom loom, Majority of factory connectors are available. If you have the time its easy to pull your harness take some measurements and how it branches then make it yourself. Depending what ecu you are using may be able to buy a loom with ecu connector alrready and just add extra wires for extra things like pressure & temp sensors and DBW. -
I was running a relay so had direct feed from battery without voltage drop can wire 2 relays & low current through switch
-
Buy a Nexus and wire everything and do heaps of other stuff. Enough outputs for almost any engine setup
-
easy to use 2 switches & 1 relay. 12v+ to each side opposing & same with negative with centre to window motors Enjoy my paint wiring diagram

E gate vs conventional gate
robbo_rb180 replied to Old man 32 GTR's topic in General Automotive Discussion
4 port mac valve and a proper 3d wastegate duty cycle map, can go further with additional 4 & 5D depending how many other considerations you want like wheel speed and TPS At the moment probably best to stick with traditional wastegate as it works. -
Good work Easy to trim fuel, build a Lambda/afr target map and can use the quick tune function to get it pretty good quickly but need to turn off any other trim tables.

GTR I just got one!

If doing a DBW with ecu/loom can now do it on factory plenum https://www.iee.nz/product-page/rb26-drive-by-wire-system -
go back to the front mount, install the Link and road tune the low load stuff, plenty of people can help like myself or @Dose Pipe Sutututu Depends where you live an experienced member may be able to help with the install & setup

Don't think a hoist will fit in here 😅 All moved down to Ipswich now. Got first hot hatch cup round at lakeside Saturday. Had a few problems with the getz running and it's stuck in Rockhampton at the moment so will be using a mates car. Also got 2nd place in class for last season sprints in Townsville and only doing 4 of 7 rounds which is cool.
