  1. Sucks not being able to work on the car, I am about to be in same situation in a few weeks. Got a link to channel? The editing is time consuming but I am enjoying as learning something new each time and different ways to do things.
  2. 4L80 is an another option keep that overdrive option https://www.enginemaster.com.au/hughes-street-strip-h-d-4l80e-transmission-1991-95 Driving a manual in Sydney traffic would get old very quickly.
  3. Smaller lift pump and stage the 2 main pumps will help alot or for a cheap fix fit a cooler. Can you monitor fuel temps with either a temp sensor or ethanol content sensor? I see temps upto 55C at track and around 43-47c on the street
  4. Thanks, yeah it needed doing as there were alot of old repairs that were bad and this was easiest way.
  5. NPC and Mantic would have no problems making you one. Have had a few custom ones done through NPC too.
  6. Been a big push last few weeks getting the car ready for paint and reassembly. Wire wheeled all the brackets for the dash and centre console, gave them a fresh coat of black paint. Pulled the castor brackets out cleaned them up and got a coat of satin black too. Went to spray the engine bay just before New Years and that was a big fail as I hadn't cleaned the spray gun properly and it was too hot & humid. So while I was waiting for shops to open back up started making a new catch can, its over kill but good fab project. Fast forward 2 weeks and was able to finally get more paint. Resanded the engine bay & interior and gave it all a fresh coat of satin white. It looks much better all painted. Plans to get the engine and gearbox back in saturday and start getting it ready to run. Got a few new brackets to fab up for power steering res, overflow and fuse boxes. AND because I don't have enough projects........ 2007 Hyundai Getz that I am building for Hot Hatch Cup Australia https://hothatchcup.com.au/?fbclid=IwAR3tzSmEiSq1mzQoOxz2KiuHcrES4OzHfm2VoKMNZMu0iNVHjxd1V3jYynw
  7. Was there anything actually wrong with the engine before removing it? If budget is an issue put new rings and bearings in it and call it a day. I have used spool rebuild kits on one rb and sr. Good quality for the price and no issues https://www.spoolimports.com/engine-rebuild-kits/rb25
  8. So roll racing then........... Seen parts from a mega don spec s15 for sale, have you scared him off?
  9. A local workshop is about to put a g35 900 on an ej25 and I know he will put results up @Plattsy has shared his results of G30 on ej25. I think it made over 410kw at the wheels on e85.
  10. G30-660 or 770 would be the go. Heaps more efficient but a quality intercooler core will help IAT consistency.
  11. I am having a go at it, just put up first one today. Got another race car to build, at least the category is pretty restricted and has control parts.
  12. now start doing some build videos of the datsun
  13. Got a colour preference or you maybe get the M3 to fit the family
  14. 400kw at the wheels with Ac off will do that How fun is it riding in cars that shouldn't do what they. Do you have room to add a decent reservoir that could hold water/coolant with ability to add ice? Or just get yourself a MPVI2 and start doing some tuning at the track. Be interesting to see how much timing is being pulled with IATs
  15. With motivation to having to move next year more progress is being made. Tubs welded in and engine bay primed Also made up a basic sheet metal bender to start making up a few things like catch can, radiator/intercooler mounts and ducting. Bends 2mm alloy easily and 1mm steel. Got a bit of sanding to do over xmas/new year then will paint bay and interior in satin white.
  16. A fired up lewis will be interesting to watch especially with everyone starting fresh with new regulations. Piastri deserved a F1 drive after the past 2 seasons, hopefully gets a seat 2023 in a good team as can't see Alpine putting him in unless both Alonso & Ocon both leave and they bring in Gasly to partner Piastri. 😂😂🤣 Love this dudes videos
  17. I have run something similiar in the past to great effect for from opening in front bar right up to the rad and sealed with foam. No temp issues at big circuit and helped IATs. With my rebuild I am going make similiar to bcozican's setup as looking to improve front end aero
  18. they do as I use banjo & washer on my fronts with no problems
  19. Nice work, did you decide on a rotor and pad setup yet?
  20. Contact East Coast Customs they have been working on them for a while and know their way around them https://www.facebook.com/eccustoms
  21. Doesn't matter what ecu you have, you always need to change injector data and have the tune checked as there is differences on how injectors perform. A Link g4x plugin with a can lambda sensor is simple plugin setup. Find a reputable/competent tuner to tune it best thing would be to have it towed there.
  22. Base timing offset will need to be checked. Link help file in the pc link software has the procedure in there. I've set my link ecu up for 15 degrees base timing and have an idle ignition map as that could be something that has been setup. If it has just started idling high start looking for leaks after the throttle body. Pm me your tune can see how it's been setup
  23. Been doing a bit of work again on this car to get it ready for some racing next year. Test day has been booked for 17th February at Morgan Park. Finished off seam welding and fixing a few holes and previous damage Started repairs on front end and cutting out the tubs ready for Kelway replacements Full cage and rewire has been put on hold as getting ready to move back down to Ipswich, bought a new house and need to build a new shed to house all the cars, have a good idea on size and layout with a few improvements over current place.
