  1. Wheel bearing or lock bar has come loose. Jack it up and inspect or go to a mechanic
  2. Just roll with it........been here 12 years with same old name. S14/15 would be the go as no hicas or just r33 if you can't find one
  3. Will be issues with fueling if you change the size of the intakes as MAF scaling will need to be changed to suit
  4. Decided late last week I wanted to go to japnats at QR, couldn't go all that way and not drive the event so took the 370. Had a heap of fun but the automatic isn't really up for circuit duties.
  5. Since anything Japanese car related is stupid money have you thought of putting the BMW 335 motor and box it?
  6. Yeah plates are for the next engine conversion
  7. In car from best run saturday 2nd pass edit.mp4
  8. Rockynats is done..... Car went well all weekend. Did 1/8th mile racing and got hosed by a lotus as absolutely no traction. Made 260kw at the Dyno and around 100kms of street driving and cruising. Confused many people what it was. Pretty good event for the first one, even though it rained all today will definitely enter the next one.
  9. thats normal after a swap. So its all together?
  10. Awesome, you will be smiling for a while when you get it back. I'll just leave this here............ https://tremaniacracingengines.com.au/product/ls-403ci-boosted-long-engine/
  11. PM Sent PRP really should supply quality instructions with these trigger kits like the coil kits. Surprised Haltech couldn't solve it.
  12. Maybe get in contact with Ian about a closed deck spacer.......
  13. Car is now registered and done some small drives, it is really loud inside the car but quiet outside. Drives very nicely and no weird noises, stereo is good with Bluetooth music and realdash app going. Fixed everything and went back to the Dyno. Trigger kit fixed alot of things but Intercooler is not happy after a few back to back pulls with 60-70 degrees seen and pulling boost & timing but happy with results for doing everything myself. Will go e85 after rockynats and give it 25psi and extra timing.
  14. Good to hear supercharger is ready. That is understandable to have the sads but doing a great thing helping the locals out.
  15. This is too easy in the US...... Add a boost tee and CAI and run it up on a Dyno jet Dyno 😂 Gtx3071 internal gate, plazmaman Intercooler kit, 1000cc top feed injector kit, aero motive stealth fuel pump, link g4 plugin ecu, 3inch exhaust. Factory airbox with a 3inch pipe to turbo. Plan for a gasket kit and clutch. Leaves plenty of room for more power later. There is almost 20years of information on this site, easy to find information with a Google search.
  16. Great progress, get that Wideband done and start tuning. Worth the effort for a neat install. Going to be good all round street car.
  17. PM me the tune file and a pc log (all channels logged) of it doing it.
  18. sounds more like a MAP limiter in ecu and open loop boost control doesn't have temp correction. What ecu is in the car? can you log the issue?
  19. just go drive, no need for fancy things with drifting. Just go have fun. Just grab a few sets of standard wheels, cheaper that way as you will bust a few hitting curbs, ripple strips and other car.
  20. Made a heap of progress today and got the car running again. Nz wiring trigger kit was easy to fit and after a few trial and error with settings got it fired up, trigger scope is stable and revs cleanly. Fitted a new aeroflow fuel reg too so pressure is at 45psi base now. Got the realdash app working with the ecu, currently just setup off the tuning port but have a CAN to USB adapter so I can display some more stuff and switch boost by CAN. VID_20210323_163255.mp4 Found a wheel bearing had packed it in so now waiting for that to arrive before back to Dyno and roady Friday atm.
  21. a bit of googling some old style stuff came up do luck or maybe a trial kit. Cool to see kits like this from the late 90s-00s
  22. You need to remove the top half of the intake manifold to fit the rail and injectors on then reinstall the plenum. Yes it's "bolt on" but there will still things that have to be modified.
  23. You will need an aftermarket fuel reg (gfb, turbosmart, aeroflow. What suits your budget) and would recommend a walbro 460l pump just to future proof the setup. Ensure you do a new relay and wiring of correct size for the fuel pump.
  24. I think the old gt3076 will need an upgrade first. Once I've got these things sorted will get it on the corn juice and send it to make a decent number.
  25. It's down from the last one I remember from years ago. Wouldn't mind doing a leak down test too if I can borrow one. Ordered trigger kit and will be installing new fuel pump and reg tonight. Just going to do these and see how it goes.
