  1. This has been done but to do it properly is time, money and skill. Need matching diffs, awd gearbox, atessa pump, 4wd controller, custom front hubs or graft in r chassis front, awd front subframe, modify chassis rails to clear driveshafts, modify floor pan- will need to modify tunnel and relocate seat mount. I looked into it and started collecting most of the big parts but stopped as I did not have the skills to fabricate the metal work required. I looked at using n15 pulsar front spindles and modified R32 shafts so could retain standard front end. Cheaper and easier to buy an awd car Fullraces s14 https://forums.nicoclub.com/full-race-s-new-r14-build-thread-t530203.html Australian awd s13 drag car. Made his own custom front spindles https://www.whichcar.com.au/events/drag-challenge/eight-second-all-wheel-drive-nissan-silvia-drag-challenge-2019 Pj s13 awd https://m.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1041939785854147&id=303857756329024&set=pcb.1041940285854097&source=48&refid=13&__tn__=%2B%3D If your wanting better launches and traction control, get a decent aftermarket ecu, DBW conversion, front and rear wheel speed sensors, good tyres, quality suspension and alignment then set up traction & launch control.
  2. a friend has had GT auto garage fix and tune his 34gtr with good results last year.
  3. 666DAN use to supply led conversion kits for various cars, try contacting him.
  4. they do in 4th. When tuning with HPtuners need to "activate" lock up but can have trouble staying in lock up mode on a chassis dyno. Good result from a"standard" ls1. So when is blower being ordered?
  5. Injector choice is one thing a lot of people don't understand that is important especially with a high powered flex fuel street car. Better off buying something that comes with all the info not just 2d deadtime/voltage offset. Want flow at diffrent pressures, min pulse width and pulsewidth adder. Places to look for data are https://www.deatschwerks.com/ https://fuelinjectorclinic.com/ECUData https://www.raceworks.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/LR-RW-DATA-INJ-CHARTS.pdf http://help.injectordynamics.com/support/solutions/folders/263533
  6. Couldn't find the exact injector but guessing would be something like these https://www.efisolutions.com.au/bosch-2000cc-fuel-injector-0-280-158-821 Spend the extra money on these, much better control at idle & cruise. Makes a massive difference when tuning if the injector is linear & comes with all the data to setup correctly http://injectordynamics.com/injectors/id2000/
  7. you may also find that there are differences in the body & engine looms between year of manufacture. 0 Did the new loom come with all the relays near the ecu? this will help with some diagnosis
  8. Got plenty of room or just smack it with a hammer to make room. Need more than just a drain to help with oil issues- cam baffles, baffled sump, restrictors, oil pump, oil returns in the block, not hanging off limiter.....
  9. Old school option for mounting. Lots of various options with a quick google search. Some will even retain vent functionality. If the car feels better coming onto boost its likely your tuner hasn't setup the haltech boost control properly. Generally ramp the duty cycle to 100% and taper it off to get desired boost level. Helps with larger turbos. Depending on the what haltech you have it will have open or closed loop options.
  10. I think I read earlier you have a haltech, why are you not using that to control boost as is a lot better and can build in some safety?
  11. Are you even doing it right if you don't get covered in fuel? Be interesting to see how it goes on the dyno before & after. Whats it making atm, 210-230kw?
  12. 30 seconds into test drive
  13. Good point. Was the car on e85 only when stored? could lead to moisture build up in the cylinder which leads to corrosion.
  14. depends on how you drove it..... Tune maybe rich in some places & lean in others. Ignition timing would definitely not be optimal. How did it drive? Was it blowing smoke? Was the engine comp tested before being installed? I'd be doing a leak down test too. Get it running and redo comp test. Check oil & coolant to see if that is mixing or getting combustion gas in cooling system. My internet diagnosis is going to be blown head gasket between cylinders.
  15. Welcome, that's cool sending the car back to Japan. You should do a full write up on the build of the 34 https://www.sau.com.au/forums/forum/190-projects-overhauls-and-build-ups/
  16. New mustangs are great the 10 speed in the 2018+ just makes them great for cruising and highway fun 2018 intake, full exhaust & e85 make 340ishKw or just add a blower & headers 450kw but they are pretty big cars, took a while to get use to parking/reversing them. After being in a few mustangs and a 2019 M4. I would definitely take the mustang, much nicer to live with daily. More build saga please, been good reading and seeing how you got to this point.
  17. Hi, try posting here in the Wanted To Buy section https://www.sau.com.au/forums/forum/13-wanted-to-buy/
  18. Poor man pays twice..... Do it once and do it right. Helped with a few NA+T conversions on a few cars and with what is available these days it is easy & relatively affordable to do. The performance gain is nothing just adding the turbo without all the supporting fuel & ignition stuff. This is the only way I would do a NA+T Nissan these days Nistune https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/nissan/ecus/listing-2598731886.htm?rsqid=544f00f97d7445d8a2bb6cc625d524a1-001 AFM https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/nissan/electrics/listing-2582866171.htm?rsqid=bd2234b74bfa46ddafc477cd90d356e0-003 Add a fuel pump like an Aeromotive stealth 300, factory turbo fuel reg, standard turbo or gtr injectors and enjoy a car that is reliable and fun with the option to go further in the furture.
  19. has the CAS got the washers between it and the bracket? Is the dwell setting correct for coils?
  20. No, it should still turn over. I would be talking with who made the loom as if both ecus are not firing injectors thats rare for 2 fried ecus. The loom could also have a an issue damaging the ecu. Probably time to engage an auto sparky
  21. May be worth getting a hold of a consult cable & download consult software. See if there are any codes of errors. Besides testing another ecu.
  22. Is there a way to automatically put any thread with "catch can" in it straight to the oil control thread?
  23. https://lmgtfy.com/?q=6boost+manifold+rb25
  24. So it turns over but does not fire? 1. Check 12v at injectors and Continuity back to the ecu on the ground side. 2. Remove CAS and plug in, spin it and listen for injectors pulsing. 3. If the above is good, Check fuel pump is priming. 4. If pump is priming, fuel lines are backwards.
