  2. anzac/easter long weekend would be good. would be able to get a heap more people to come. weather will still be good, accomadation maybe dearer but we can always stay @ a caravan park/backpackers. nur33- i would be more worried about the state of the roads on the way up.
  3. sounds good. i will also put that up on NS. when will it happen? there is going to be a meet n greet @ riverway tues night 7pm with a few guys from NS as well. see you all there.

  5. easy fix, if you don't find it i have 1 here you can have.
  6. yeah its pretty funny that, i have met a few more members recently though. i remember when there were only a 3 r32's, a hand full of 33's & a few 34's getting around, now every P plater has 1. whats the go with your car? let me know if you want a hand to fix it.
  7. bringing back an old thread i know.... just trying to see if any townsville members are interested in meeting up and doing cruise some time.
  8. if you can't get it right doing it yourself take it to a mechanic. at least you know it will be done properly. you don't want the pedal to be like when you have to pull up quickly.
  9. hat off to ya. that is a great looking zed. love retrotech cars
  10. wow. that is awesome. good work, love the colour. any more plans for it?
  11. i'll grab 1x g/box 1x diff 1 set of black hole magnets
  12. this is still happening on satday see you all at riverway satday cheers rob
  13. that was good read. i know where i am buying my next car
  14. ^^ there are much better ecu"s out there, i had a mate try 1 in his datto w/CA18..........it was a nightmare to setup as he used a ford ignition w/crank pick up and there was no tech support as they are based in england (so you have to call them at crazy hours). stick to what has been tried & tested - Vipec/Link, Power FC, Nistune. at least all these are plug & play ecu's. there are plenty of people out there that have a lot of experiance with them.
  15. whats the condition of the r200 diff & drive shafts?
  16. this thing drives real nice with the current setup but theres nothing wrong with wanting more. you know i love driving this thing the way it is. i still think though, you should get this setup working 100% and sort out the suspension. but at the end of the day its your car and want you want to do with it. let me know when you are selling the current setup, i may know someone that wants it
  17. good to hear Paul. there hasn't been any interest from any NS members so it will now just be an SAU cruise. the date for this cruise is saturday 8th January 2011. meet at Riverway carpark about 10am for a 11am step off the route will be same as the original post. if you have a hand held 2way radio bring it along as i found this is a big help when cruises get seperated. let me know who will be eating at the cafe at Paluma so i can give them a heads up on numbers for lunch. cheers rob
  18. rb25 in s chasis is fun. the low down torque is great even with a standard motor. i haven't got any problems with how my car handles. i got 230kw from my standard injectors & had no problems. the only problem i had for a while is that the water temp would go to 90-95 on a hot day up here. i put in a nismo thermostat and that fixed the problem. if u want i have a rb20 box & g/box x-member & tailshaft left over from when i upgraded. the rb20 box was good and i had 230kw & a shagged clutch i also have a 32 gtr radiator thats been reco'd if your interested. if i had the time and there was a dedicated track up here. i would put a rb in my other 180 as well, since i pretty much have everything needed

  24. the gtr is going again. i went and finished the wiring and fuel pump setup on monday night. its a bit neater than how it was oringinally done started first turn of the key, it now runs alot smoother with the Vipec compared to the power FC. sorry for hijacking your thread marty drags satday night..... i can wire in my wideband for a quick road tune will definately turn some heads on thursday
  25. i put this on the other week and it worked fine for 2 weeks and has stopped working. has anyone else had this issue? i had it wired up as an earth switch, is this the way its meant to be done?
