Just had my car checked over and serviced by gavin wood... there were a couple of things i was worried about but he said that the car is all good... The only thing he said was the turbo was a bit to loud like when its spooling up so he said it might stay like that for 5 years or it could go in a month... just another excuse to high flow if it does n e way.... first spendings will be an alarm with remote start probably a viper, python or clifford (all the same).... Then I need to work where the best place is to spend the money on the engine.... eg ECU, High flow, FMIC or all of the above....

hmmm i want the flutter but i can just see myself trying to explain to the mechanic there is a chewed up coke lid in my engine....

so how do i get that damn fluttering sound

i am no ricer.... and hate really loud blow of valves but i think they can sound good, and i love that tu tu tu tuuuu sound which i have been told comes from the waste gate.. is that true?

Ok so last night i thought it would be pretty funny to hide someone in the back of my wagon and after picking my girlfriend up and driving for 10mins have them scream and grab her shoulder... As they did that i slammed on the breaks to add to the effect... silly girl didn't have her seatbelt on and went flying foward and ripped my rear view mirror down... Prank Backfired! the actuall plate is still on the window but the mirror and the arm its attatched to have come out... it looks like it should just slot back in... havn't had any luck yet

yeh thats what iv heard... plus i just found out the viper 5901 alarm in getting installed has one anyway.

Im getting one installed next week and dont have one yet and was thinking ill just get the workshop to buy and fit it What does paying for a good one get you... like all they do is keep the ignition running with a timer there cant be that much to them? also has anyone got pics of where they have theres mounted.

so as long as it is 5 x 114.3 stud configuration? Thanks guys ill have to check around a few wreckers to try and find one...

The m35 I just bought didn't come with a spare so I'm trying to find one... I have found a space saver on eBay from an r32/33 would this fit my 01 m35 stag... ?

Just looking for a good workshop that can check my M35 over and service it regularly and help me with improvements. I don't have the time or the skills to work on it myself. I have had one suggestion, Gavin Wood autotech in labrador. Any more? or anyone else used these guys.

i look at all the topics and see mine uptop with a few posts im like sweet heaps of response... i get in here and its just flirting again .... thanks guys... yeh i saw the post of other ppl talking about boost and saying theres stops before the +1 point n i was like hmmm im pretty sure i have caught mine jumping a fair bit higher than that.... Should i have this wound down? or be cautious when driving it... Also i can here a little chirping sound when i start her up in the morning... i think its the turbo not really sure could this be a sign of anything... i know its a pretty open question... also where can i find a translation of the TV Screen buttons, save me making another topic cause im sure there would be one on here somewhere?

anyone know a good tuning shop on the gold coast... Would like to get a full service and the whole stag checked over make sure im not going to blow apart that turbo to soon... The guy i bought it off rekons its all stock but i dunno....

I have never been in anything with a turbo in it before let alone owned one... Is this a normal level of boost... and how do i read the gauge like as in PSI. This is a 2001 M35 Stagea Here a couple of vids First one is taking of from about 10kmh flat stick to about 85-100kmh vid 1 The second is me cruising at about 80kmh and giving her a quick jab at the end... vid 2 Thanks

just put a deposit down on the stag just waited for the kit to be fixed... should pick it up friday

Ok so now what does all that mean? I took the car for a drive today it ran well Also took it to my mechanic and put it up on the hoist. It has taken a hit at some state in the passengers front right just on the wheel... There are a couple of new bits around the wheel and a little welding that has taken place... Also the guy hat is selling said he can get the body cleaned up for me... I was wondering is there a way to raise the body kit so I can lower the car or would I just need to scrap the body kit all together... Sorry for the noob question ( never really been into Anything but classic cars...)
