  4. 2min 12sec in 1992 -- from a 1600kg , boost restricted, little development time car thats only 4sec/lap slower......in 13years!

  6. id consider 10k-12k mabye! the 4wd GTST's just arnt worth as much as the RWD versions bein a 93model helps but yeh hmm they just arnt worth that much these days

  10. yes but u can work out engine torque from the tractive effort approx anyway my CA made bout 320nm @ the tires not bad for a 1.8
  11. How much horsepower/kilowatts do you want? 230rwkw What are you using the car for? eg. Street/drag When do you want boost roughly? coming on from 2200...full @ 4000 Do you want power early or late in the rev range? mid-late - i dont mind a Little lag if if will give a better top end hit...must last to redline What Mods you engine has or is going to have including computers or exhaust etc.? zorst, intake, FMIC, fuelpump, injectors, probably a power fc, possibly cams Obviously, what car? S13 with a RB20DET Intercooled? and is it large, small, medium? medium at his stage....VR4 cooler - apprantly flows enough for 230rwkw Still running AFM or upgraded or no longer there? stock Rb20 80mm AFM Custom exhaust manifold or standard? (custom exhaust manifolds give you more options) stock manifold - as below....preffered stock but non stock if price is right External wastegate or internal(limited to virtually 450hp - internal gate preferred but external if price is right thx jason
  12. umm course they do 13's. lol dead stock on launch they were "close" to 12's doubt they would drop a full second even with a decent amount of km on the engine
  13. my stock (ok had a pod but it wasnt heatshielded) CA18DET auto silvia ran a 15.1......with 92rwkw, lol i got beaten by R32's with zorst,pod......similar to dead stock ones so low 15's i would think....and into the 14's with zorst/pod/boost and into the 13's with FMIC/more boost

  16. its easy there are some stock cars that are turbo & supercharged it just uses a clutch that operates the blower untill a certain boost pressure is being made by the turbo...then the blower is disengaged . the result...no lag and a big arse top end as well

  18. sorry to say...its just too high for a nonturbo..... the turbo ones are going for 10-12k...and turbo sils/180's are going for 7-9k! realistically.....$5-6k is more where ur looking at
  19. correct - dyno runs are only good for comparison if 2 cars are run beside each other the 2 cars that i compared have both made over 220rwkw on different dynos i just used the 190rwkw runs as example as thats what they both made a few mins apart on a the same dyno.
  20. how do they make 250rwkw (backed up by a 11 sec pass) on a RB20 @ 1.5bar then? if they can do it on a RB20, it can be done with a Rb25 it was 247rwkw but hey, whos counting the stock R33 turbo will flow 200rwkw @ 1bar
  21. they are rated to that but we all know that a HKS2530 will support 250rwkw @ 1.5bar..HKS underrate there turbo's a fair bit
  22. also id like to add the 2 cars are VERY similar in handling!!! the RB seems to have made little to no difference Roy : the RB20 180sx is going into the shop on monday , injectors, wolf 3d management, tune @ 1.3bar
  23. i think i can answer this one 2 180sx's....one has a 1992 SR20DET redtop with a HKS2530 @ 1.2bar, 600x300x80mm FMIC, 3" exhuast, apexi intake, power FC, HKS 550cc injectors, walbro 550HP pump, OS giken twinplate Clutch - on a very convservitive dyno (at a dyno day) it made 191.8rwkw. stock cams/internals the other 180sx, has a 1992 RB20DET, with a HKS2530 @1.1bar(same turbo), 600x300x80mm FMIC (same IC), 3" exhuast (same), K&N intake, GTR fuel pump, stock injectors but a FPR (fuel pressure regulator) and a SAFC tuned with the stock computer. it made (at the same dyno day, a few mins after the other 180sx) 192.0rwkw. stock cams/internals virtually identical power - the torque curves were interesting.....the SR20 was higher untill 4000rpm where the RB took over.....so the SR has the lower end...but it fell away from 6000rpm...where the RB stayed strong to 8000rpm. i worked out the "approx" area under the graphs....the RB had it by about 10% more...due to the wider power band. now...when racing....from a standing start....the SR wins untill mid-end of 2nd gear, where the RB pulls on it....then by the time 4th comes...its pulled 1.5-2 lengths - its a similar situation when racing supra's...RB takes over in 2nd and continues to pull away...on a rolling start its RB all the way...from 110kph in 3rd gear (4500rpm in the RB , PERFECT from launching from) it nails the SR the top end of the RB helps here...... i guess u should come to ur own conclusions about these "results"
  24. 130mph is a easy 10 ! im actually in the market for a upgrade....thats a awesome price too.....i was looking at a S15...but hmmm , might expand my horizons, lol
  25. im not really sure on the RB's but my CA with stock internals runs out to 8500rpm & 16psi boost quite happily! i havent run into any valve bounce problems
