I had a similar problem - not quite the same, and my afm was just faulty - i had cleaned it etc and pretty much almost eliminated it as a probable cause then found a 2nd hand one swapped it over and didn't have any issues after that.

Only the drivers side barrel as far as i can tell, and they've taken the cover to my fuse box which is a bit weird but kind of annoying also. Its bad enough having to enter my vehicle now from the passenger side as i only had key operated central locking and the master was the drivers door >.<

Hi guys, Just a heads up that at 5:45am last night someone tried to steal my R32 gts-t from my driveway in Berriedale, Hobart near Morilla. I was woken by my alarm and scared them off before they had a go at my ignition. My drivers side lock barrel is stuffed and they were in my fuse box before they ran. I guess this is just a note to stay vigilant, take stuff out of your car you don't want stolen etc (though im pretty sure they were after my car not anything in it) Peace Zed
