  5. I have a R33 gtst and have the same issue with fuel consumption, 300kms per tank driving sensibly But i guess it's better than my old VL calais turbo 200-220 per tank.

Hey, im trying to connect my laptop to my adaptronic ecu, but when i plug the usb cable in, it looks online for the driver but can't find it, then asks to insert a CD to locate a driver and it still won't connect. I have a HP laptop with windows vista ultimate (64bit). Does anyone have the driver or know where i can get it from? I have gone to the adaptronic site but there is no download for it. Thanks David
  8. I dont think that i need a regas or compressor as it's pretty cold when it's working. Does anyone know where the low-rpm cut out is located. It's a R33 GTST

  10. My aircon only works when the revs are above 1500rpm. When i stop at the lights you can hear the aircon compressor clutch click off, then when the revs go above 1500rpm it clicks and starts to get cold again. Has anyone else had this problem or can help me sort it out? Thanks David
  11. Well not knowing how much money he has to spend, or if he even wants to spend money on it, i just gave him something to look at before he goes and spends $1000+. Yeah a new ECU is a great idea, but if he can fix the problem quickly it would suit him alot better as he wrote in his first post "I really just want a simple way to make it boost lower in the rev range if possible?"
  12. Mate, i think that you should first check out the external wastegate before you go and waste money on a new ECU. It could be as simple as adjusting the wastegate or checking the vacuum line to it. It sounds like the wastegate is not closed. When you start your car check if there is any fumes coming out of your screamer pipe? Do you know what size the rear housing on the turbo is? and do have any photos of the setup?

  15. Hi all, I have a r33 gtst which was running fine, until i installed a greddy style intake manifold and 80mm T/B. After installing the intake i now have a very noticable flat spot, when you first accelerate the car goes to die then the revs pick up. Also i had to disconnect one plug from the idle speed motor cause it was idling over 1100rpm. (The flat spot didn't go away with this plugged in, before anyone asks). Im running a adaptronic ecu (e420c). Can anyone please help as this is becoming a pain in the ass to drive. Thanks David
  16. I have only had the car for about 5000kms. It looks like new just needs a little clean. There is nothing wrong with it i just put a bigger one on that i had off my vl turbo.

  18. Thanks for your responses, i think i will have to go with the Garrett GT3082R with the .82 rear. I hope i can get around 300kw at the wheels.

  20. I have an Autronic e420c ECU, FMIC, Aftermarket coil packs, 3" exhaust, top mount turbo manifold, custom plenum. I had a T04Z before on my VL but i was told that it would be too laggy for the RB25.
  21. Hey guys, I recently bought my first skyline and want to get more power out of it. It currently makes 220kw at the wheels, but i want more. Im just after some info on turbo selection, im thinking of running either a GT3582R with a .63 rear or a GT3082 with a .82 rear. (Both with External gate) If anyone has run either of these two setups or have some info about them, can you help me out please. I would like to know the following: At what revs you reach boost Is there much lag How much power you made Thanks David
