  1. Geez, $22+ for a 1993 - 1995 car. I just sold my silvia i imported two years ago for a complete loss, cause thats all they are worth. Consider 1992 silvia NA, auto Remus 2.5" exhaust, twin tips Apexi Air filter New tyres Apexi extractors Strut braces etc etc I bought this car a year ago for $10000, i sold him last week for $6500, it had done 140000km. But $22000+ for a ten year old car is getting up there, i could be looking at 1998 wrx's and stuff for that kinda money. paul
  2. Yer ive got a mate that imports them but i dont want to get bitten, he recently imported an 300zx that he was driving in japan. Turns out the engine was blown by some tool in the importing yard, they failed to tell him that. paul
  3. Why would I buy a private sale for $17000, if i can get a dealer one for $17999 with a warranty? Unless this car had some sort of modifications? What is the car details, man, turbo? What defines a serious buyer, i just sold my silvia so i guess you could call me a definate buyer cause i need a car to drive to work. paul also what are the km on the clock, what colour? also the $14000 one only had a front nudge on the vehicle which required a new bumper support, thats why it was priced accordingly.
  4. Im not going to pay outrageous prices for local ones, but ive seen some decent cars sold from the sunday times last sunday. Skipper rippoff mitsubshi sells r33 1993 skylines for $17999, and i passed on a bunky one in canning vale for $14000, so anywhere in that ball park is were i wanna start. No NOS kits sorry! paul
  5. Are there any r33 manual, turbo skylines for sale on the fourms, every car seems to be from melbourne! paul
  6. Im actually chasing a skyline aswell, ive had a look at a few, but id like to hear from anyone selling a R33 man, skyline, turbo, low kms etc paul
  7. Hmmmm, Yer the auto bit is shit i drove my auto sr silvia for 2 months and got bored. I wasnt talking about modified vehicles! paul
  8. Hey mephis, I looked at 3 private cars on the weekend, all manual, and all under 94000km, the lowest at 65000km. A car being manual suddenly doesnt add $3000 to the price??? most handbags actually pay extra for auto as an option on most new cars. The cars i looked at were all under $17000, ive got an offer going through atm for one with a minor front bumper push for $14000. The sudden flood of cheaper imports in perth has rocked the 2nd hand car market, i could take a risk and import one through autoworxs (www.perthcars.com) for $15000 with mods, but for $23000+ private sale, do i get a warranty and any dealer extras? My 4 cents...... paul
  9. Yer about $15000, skipper mitsubishi in perth have got 7 for sale at $17999 retail, i had a look last night cause i sold my silvia! They are half decent stock, and in the past skippers have sold these for $25000. Most common perth car yards sell these for $16000. my 2c paul
