Exactly what turbos are you and N1GTR using? sounds like some serious gear, how big are the cams? What clutches are holding down the power? have you noticed it starting to give way?

after having a chat to the guys at speedflow i ended up taking the plunge on the twin 044s as well. heres some specs 2-3L Surge Tank in boot 2x 044 bosch fuel pumps (mounted under car) 1x Bosch 023 Fuel pump (lift pump) Teflon speedflow fuel lines and fitting in engine bay and boot Aluminium speedflow fuel lines and fitting under car 10.5mm Twin entry Greddy Fuel Rail SARD 1000CC inj Tomei Type R Fuel Regulator gt35r .82 should be finished by in a week or 2. i doubt ill hit the limit of the 044s but some numbers wouldnt hurt. I also noticed alot of you guys are running 2000cc injectors. Will my 1000cc injectors be sufficient for my turbo size? Also can modifications be made to my existing 10.5mm fuel rail to accommodate a upgrade to the 11mm ID2000s?

Will Z Tune Style Kit Fit Onto Standard R34 Gt ?
Jap_Muscle replied to ms.apexi's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
1: No, the Z tune kit is catered to a GTR bonnet and GTR guards, both which wont align on a r34 GT. 2: The best company would be EastBear which make GTR replica bodykits, expensive though. 3: i dont understand the question 4: car resprays depend on your budget. they range from 3.5k right through to 15k. DT Panels in springvale if your cheap, Micolour if you want to do it properly. 5: Only way to get Xenon headlights is 2nd hand off a existing R34 GTT/GTR. Your best bet is japanese yahoo auctions. expect $1500+ for a decent pair. hope this helps -
im just not 100% sure what are proper insulated lines. How do teflon lines compare to aluminum? what advantage does teflon have over aluminium to justify the extra price? Do people prefer speedflow stuff to earls? or any other brand?
-
Is there a particular brand of lines ppl recommend?
-
Phil if you dont midn helping me out. Exactly how many places can one of these plugs be fitted to? or more importantly, where SHOULD they be?
-
what exactly do you guys define as long periods of WOT? and in what application? ill be at the very most on WOT at 10-14seconds at time so i hope the surge tank is big enough and the pump supplying can keep up. but my biggest concern is the smell of fuel. can anyone answer if mouting the surge in the boot will be a problem? or should it be under the car along with the pumps?
-
So what you guys are saying is that the fuel pump that fills up the surge tank needs to be bigger then the pumps fueling the injectors? Ive currently got a bosch 023 supplying fuel to my 2-3L surge tank via a -6 line which is all inside the boot. The Surge tank then leads to 2x 044s under the car via -8 lines which leads to a twin entry fuel rail which is also via -8 lines. The car is purely a street/drag car. Will i run into fuel smell with just the surge tank in the boot? What brand fittings do ppl recommend to combat the fuel smell? also i see alot of ppl are running 2000cc injectors. Im currently running 1000cc. will the injectors max out before my 044s or even the turbo? Im on a fine line with the mrs since the suspension upgrade. If i tell her she has to smell fuel to i might have to sleep on the couch for the next few weeks

did the car come like that from japan buddy? no issues with compliance? registering?
-
R you know worrie about drivetrain issues buddy?

Uve got 2 subs in the boot so want to avoid any serious fuel system in there. At the same time if I mount it all externally I don't want to smell anyfuel. I understand increased diameter fuel lines are prob a good thing along with proven fittings to avoid any smell. I just got my hands on a tome type L fuel reg along with 1000cc inj + greedy fuel rail. Just trying to guage how much braided lines would cost to replace all the rubber stuff. If any distributors are reading this please contact me as I am ready Togo with cash. Just need to know a number to make sure I'm wing realistic. Any advice from SAU'erz would ve most appreciated as well Edit: Has anyone had any experience with Teflon coated lines? I understand these are one of the few lines that can cope with e85, as others die over time.
-
Have u detected even the faintest smell of fuel? Reading on prev posts do you feel that your 3L surge is adequate? How much did the complete replacement of lines set you back? Cars going in tomorrow ans wanna get the ball rolling asap. This GT35x turbo is very interesting.
-
Hi guys, Im about to start playing with E85 myself but only running a gt35r, nothing as big as some of you guys. Will 2x 044s be sufficient enough to get the maximum out of my turbo? rb30 as well. Also what do people recommend for fittings and lines to make sure the smell of fuel is avoided? i understand if you buy generic it tends to leak the smell out. And what type of lines should i be using for e85? Oh and how big of a surge tank do ppl recommend?

That's why I sold my own suspensionfor a dedicated drag setup. But tell me how often do people actually do this? Or have the money? The typical habbib who dosnt know anything and listens to ppl on the forums, goes and buys typical HKS Tein greedy or pedders shit is one of the worse things you can get for going fast straight. It's just to harsh and hard which the completely OPPOSITE to what you want which is wht the oem stuff is. Nice and soft. Don't get me wrong if I was drifting or going around a circuit the oem stuff is absolutely horrible. But for drags it's the best bang for buck
-
Can u explain why you think own suspension is bad for straight line drags? The only reason I sold mine is because I got real serious about wanting to go fast and spent thousands on custom drag suspension. Have a read about what type of suspension makes a car go fast straight line and what makes it go fast around corners. Then maybe you'll stop preaching nonsense.

lol you dont know jack about suspension

Tial ~19psi Wastegate Spring?
Jap_Muscle replied to Jap_Muscle's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
i understand that but it seems to say i can only combine a "small" spring with a "large" spring in a combo. Am i able to combine Large with Large? -
Hi Guys, Just checked the tial website to find a new spring for my setup (60mm gate looking for 18-20psi, currently running 13psi) however tial has mentioned that in order to run higher boost levels i have to combine 2 springs together but only 1 from each category. clearer explanation here http://www.tialmedia.com/documents/w3_tial_60_sp.pdf So does that mean i cant get a tial 20psi spring? What are my options?

Thanks for the offer buddy but no thanks.
