its a r34 gtt with a r33 gtr head and 3L bottomend.
i left a message on your ans machine and sent a msg to your mobile about my specs trent but here is is again.
rb26/30
gt35r .82
18psi
standard oem cams
standard valve springs
intake port matched and polished to runners
3.5" dump
3.5" straight pipe exhaust
5" cannon
cp pistons
spool rods
9:1 comp
cosmetic head gasket
china brand fmic with 3" intake side pipe 2.5 exhaust side pipe (my guess as to the problem but no proof or expertise to back it up)
Nismo Twinplate Coppermix clutch
splitfire coils
340rwkw
to be honest trent ive called a few shops and like the forums everyone seems to have different opinions as to why it wont make more then 340rwkw regardless of how much boost i dial in.
psi drop on cooler
head flow
valve springs
cams
rather then spending money on things i dont need i would like to get the car tested and what ever it needs, i can replace.
Hi guys,
would like to have a chat to a expert on my options on freeing up the head, ive had the intake side polished and ported to the runners but want to take it a step further.
any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks
you have 3 options generally.
1: go custom, visit a bodyshop and ask for a custom job = $$$$
2: aftermarket guards from japanese companies (unsure who does this but they exist)
3: GTR guards but youll need special hinges, brackets and front bar.
there have been a few people who have been emailing me asking if these rails would fit silvias, supras ect.
let me be clear that they
ONLY FIT GTRS....32 33 OR 34 WILL FITs....IF YOU DONT HAVE A GTR THEY WILL NOT FIT
thanks guys
Thanks for pointing that out buddy i completely forgot. The details in the first post was what was given to me when i bought the wheels. I just copied and pasted it into this thread.
The fronts were replaced with maxis and the rears were Toyo, however due to a defect on one side i had to replace one of the rears with a cheap nankang.
the treads fine its just the sholder of the passenger rear which is worn out by the previous owner from having the ride height really low and slightly scraping.
the tyres aint worth much but they are included in the package.
although i do know this its starting to become outdated. what i mean by outdated is that most american muscle cars are running minimum 19" wheels and alot of companies are making 19" drag radials. Slowly but surely.
Nitto are the ones ones so far i know of though.
Joey i have been tossing up between the NT05 and the NT05R which is the drag radial version. being a drag radial i know a bit of what im getting myself into but im just worried the standard NT05s wont hold the power im making. do your NT05s break traction at all? what profile are you running?
Although i dont do any cornering (drift/track) it does get driven around on weekends and on the occasional cruise. technically it takes normal street corners and bends but i wouldnt be pushing anything. Do you see the MT ET Steets II causing me hassles in this situation?
i have been thinking about dropping down to a 18" for obvious reasons. but that wont happen till i sell my wheels. see sig for specs.
Hey Guys,
Recently overhauled the suspension on my r34 so i got the left over bits for sale.

hey buddy,
bit of a strange request but i purchased a set off the original gb, is it possible to buy 1 or just 2 mats (fronts) instead of the whole set?
your saying that a 245 tyre has much more traction ability then a 275 or even 305 tyre? although it may balloon, under heavy acceleration there is a much bigger contact path and bigger sidewall. correct me if im wrong.
bigger is always better i thought?
looks like that is the best choice there jez, but im running 19s and it looks like the ET street II only goes up to a 18"
i know ive handicapped myself a bit with a 19" but any chance you know any 19" drag radials?
