Fully Street Legal 412rwhp Gtt
Jap_Muscle replied to SKY 34's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
if ive read it correctly he says that the car is "fully street legal" and all the parts "including" the wing are permitted. i dont quite see a contradiction. correct me if im wrong. thread poster - could you please elaborate on how this car is fully street legal? is it a engineers cert? if so dont they only last a certain period of time? more detail on the permit that you have attained would be wise. pictures of the sound system would be great, and list of products used if possible. Thank you -

Different Types Of Te37's?
Jap_Muscle replied to Braddd's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
isnt it offset? you could have a 11" width wheel and have +50 offset and it would look the same as a 7" width with +11 offset -
hopefully ray can help cuz from what i remember, andru was the one who wired everything up, he only used RE Customs tools to do the job but did ask ray to soldier the wires to the ECU. he did most of my car aswell. a shame his not on the forums anymore, although he talked alot of shit he contributed to r34 owners alot. there are a few members on here who have done this so they would be your only hope from this point on.

you can pick up every sensor in the gtt except Front Toqrue, Exhaust and inlet Temp. for exhaust and inlet temp, youll have to call nissan and source a sensor. check here for the prices and part numbers http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...t-t221016.html# as for front toqrue, no chance cuz you have a rwd =[ you can still do it....it just means you cant use the factory sensor line like me and andru had. which makes things tricky. you can find out what every pin means by looking at this as you can see PIN 33 is the "boost sensor. all you need is a wire connecting that pin on the MFD to the right pin in your ecu. now me and andru jsut connected it to the triple gauge sensor which we all know is boost. your problem is you dont have that, so somehow youll need to find which pin is the Boost pin in your ecu. only way to do that is to get a volt metre and test each indivisual pin to until you get the exact reading as your boost sensor.

not bad kris. any engine mods on that thing?

theres no specific type of r34 that is what you are describing. red S's are apart of a cosmetic kit. mostly the NISMO kits. where as the Silver S is apart of all r34s that come from the factory and are only removed by private owners. so when you buy a r34 you just need to see if they have already taken it off. its not hard to do urself either. basically any r34 from 1998 to 2001 can be wat you want. you just have to make sure its not kitted with the things you dont need.

you have to run the diagnostic tool while the car is on, drive around for a bit and when it gets a reading for the exhaust it displays it on the mfd. does that will all sensors

hey garland i met up with andru a while back to help me with my MFD install so i know a bit about this stuff now. to answer your qeustions you do not need any seperate sensors....all the sensors run off your ECU. if your running a Power FC its very easy to just check number pins and connect them to the back of the MFD. in my case it was as simple as finding a MFD, and a cover and buying a few wires....and connecting it up. i cant say how easy that will be since you had the pop up display. im not sure if the cover is a direct fit. let me know how you go

that is incorrect. the only relation a BOV has to flutter/dosing is whther its blocked or not. the type of flutter/dose depends on the width, length and material of the induction pipe. the turbocharger does play a roll aswell. all a bov does is hold the air trapped in the piping. so it bounces around and goes back through the turbo, for the turbo wheel fins to chop up and make a stuttered noise. a SSQV HKS BOV has nothing to do with dosing....its just like any other BOV... but produces a whistle like sound when air goes through it. if you block it off, its the same as your OEM bov and every other blocked bov. does nothing special. the Dose you hear on VLs sound like stupid dolphins or piegons as you heard. they run a small metal pipe, no bov, and multiple bends to magnify thehigh pictched stuttered noise. alot of the high powered veicles in japan and here automaticlly produce this sound as a side affect for high horsepower aplications but usally produce a much deeper tone due to larger turbos. this is because piping is usally much larger due to larger turbocharges and dont run many bends. although the title says HKS SSQV, its incorrect. personally i hate the high pitched doses, which have been attached to wogs and VLs. but i am madly in love with the noise similar to the 650hp R34 GTR videoed above. would prefer it over a OEM "CHOO" or whistle anyday my 2c
