Silver vw golf/polo?? rego looks to be 434-LKI sorry I just took this when we were driving past. Wouldn't have noticed if he hadn't left his flashing lights on. Cairns area. Nice dent. Feel sorry for the poor sap who ran into the back of this car (assuming the twit didn't reverse into something)

PhilKenSebben replied to KezR33's topic in General Automotive Discussion
GOLD Yes just buy yourself a veyron and earn the admiration of all but the "nissan is the greatest" types on this forum. Wanna spend $20,000 instead of $2,000,000? Get a road bike. And life insurance. Or just add a big wing and some stickers to pretty much anything and go to maccas. The respect you command will be very similar. -

Bored... So I Painted My Neo Cover
PhilKenSebben replied to 1R34SON's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
I found when painting my 33's rear garnish the easiest way to do the lettering was to Paint it all the colour you want the lettering to be Let it dry then lightly coat the letters in vaseline Spray the whole thing the background colour Let it dry and wipe off the vas. Difficult to get perfect but put in the time and be pleased with the result -
The Best Car Design This Century?
PhilKenSebben replied to GTR-N1's topic in General Automotive Discussion
No, I think she's just sense oriented. She has a point, I would almost certainly die on a road bike, everyone else seems to. But I've been through a few dirt bikes that she seems to have no problem with so I can't complain. A mate of mine bought a 900 Fireblade when he moved to the territory, back when they still had no speed limits. He recalls doing 260km/h, getting a slight speed wobble, then going home to change his undies and sell the bike. -
I had one of the old mid 90's corolla hatches with the 100kw engine. That went like buggery, handled surprisingly well and was as reliable as anything. And not too ugly either. The chicks, they dug it. Had to keep the windows wound up to stop screamingly horny women from throwing themselves into the passenger seat whenever I stopped at the lights.

And the missus thinks bikes are far sexier, yet she still won't let me get one! Must be scared enough of me in a skyline... -

Ferraris. The F430 is gorgeous and the 360 was sweet too, plus the bonus of having the goods to back up the looks. I loved Lambos when I was younger, was unimpressed when I actually rode in a Countach. Oh and used to agree with Gallardos looking nicer than the Murcie, till I saw one in real life parked next to a Corolla. God damn they're small! Looked much better in photos! And Astons are very sexy for a relatively simple design, so they'll age well. -
Sweet thanks mate may do this when it comes time for the re spray cheers

Series 2 R33 headlights on a series 1. Bonnet, centre grill all that needs changing? Or quarter panels and bumper? Or do none of the bolt holes line up?

Dealerships should be able to source them. They are a two piece mould, one part sticks to the body then a second piece clips in after the glass is fitted. We can fit an aftermarket rubber mould but it will never be spot on and be aware that the glass will have to come out to do the job. This means your windscreen will almost certainly break, requiring a new one, and although a good fitter will not break toughened rear glasses on removal, they have an "all care but no responsibilty" policy. This moulding is however purely asthetic, the urethane is what seals the glass, so they can perish all they want and not affect the seal.

VIN please And clear photos of the VIN and import plates would be nice

Hehe I love how whenever someone wants to sell a pfc for the ecr33 they get dozens of responses from people claiming they're stupid for thinking they'll get more than a grand for one. I paid $1200 for mine second hand off here and am stoked, yet I got it because the other 10 people who were clearly interested in it claimed that the seller was thick and should sell it to them for $800, then arc up and swear their tits off when someone suggests that they're simply trying to rip the seller off. Do a search and it's always the same. The seller is always busy selling it for $1300 to a serious buyer while the lowballers are busy calling every other buyer a F@#%ing f%#$-nosed c#$t that should search ebay or shut their f#$!ing f$%# f$%@##$@% S$%@#!! classic

Hi rs73, Please pm me a quote for a full set (front and rear) of the basic slotted rotors for the s1 R33 gts25t. Cheers
-
No! Unless you have an aftermarket ecu such as a power fc, you need to stick to standard. There's nothing wrong with standard, and they're cheaper. Out of curiosity, what makes you think your current afm is on it's last legs? Falling to bits or maxing out? Cos if it's maxing you need to look at a new ecu and z32 anyway. A good clean with co contact cleaner from dick smiths usually sorts them out if it's just acting up

Where'd you find em for $80? I'm getting tired of searching and I think the only sure fire way of finding cheap ones off a wreck is to buy new ones for $80 first, damn murphy's law.

Personal Opinion Needed
PhilKenSebben replied to BenniwiththeGTS's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I'm not fond of the 33 gtr spoiler, and the small lip has been done too many times. I have no real issue with the standard series one spoiler so I'll leave mine at that till I find something better, rather than just changing it for the sake of modification. And I love reading "who cares what other people think" after reading page after page of people belittling others for their personal opinions if they go against the norm. Forums are all about being ridiculed by others. It helps remind you that everyone that disagrees with you is far more correct than you will ever be. -
Holden V6 Supercharged Into R32
PhilKenSebben replied to FIRTY2's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I have been passenger in an infiniti with a supercharged vq45 and that was a sweet set up. However the ls engines would have better aftermarket support in oz, no question. I just have a thing for the jap v8's. I think they handle extra load better. -
