  1. hey I went to a rim shop today to get a quote on the Lenso D1R rims from previous post few pages back I was going to go with front 18x9+32 rear 18x9.5+30 however they no longer make the 9.5's which means id have to go with a 10inch for the rear to get flush I'm hoping they still make the 18x10+36 as outer position like Alex said will be the same from the outside but being a 10inch rim will it fit with no other modifications, I currently have coilovers (only wound down about 2cm all round so cars not low low just a nice height atm also for tyre choice I'm thinking of going with ku36 245/35/18 front and 265/35/18 rear (as they don't make the 255 in the ku36) what do you guys rkn about the tyre size choice? and if anyone can give some advice on the 10Inch rear rim would be greatly appreciated Thanks Jason -PS I am going to go back tomorrow to find out for sure they make it in the 10+36 or what kinda work will i be lookin at to get 9 +15 on the rear....keeping in mind i dont want to run camber
  2. thanks for the replys guys anyone know if whiteline make adjustable camber arms?? might go with them as i think ill end up getting whiteline sway bars at the same time i get the adjustable camber arms on
  3. hey I got my coilovers (BC Racing BR Series) fitted last week by a professional suspension and break place to my gtst I'm currently running the stock rims but when I picked the car up they suggested me to get adjustable camber arms if I plan on getting rims 18inch in diameter...something to do with getting the alignment 100% or something now that i have lowered my car and to get better use out of the coilover setup...I don't know allot about suspension but I'm presuming this is what he meant by the camber arms??? if anyone knows anything or has any input it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
  4. i be keen for another GOR cruise this year
  5. montie...some very good pictures in the link
  6. as others have said bit of a disapointing turnout, but otherwise was a good cruise, no troubles, weather held up and not many slow drivers through the twisties which was good i had a great time, for the group who drove back sorry i was driving a bit slow, was because i relaised my stock suspension is pretty bad in terms of handeling but having 6.5inch wide rear wheels with approx 170kw at the wheels wasnt really helping either good news is coilovers n strut brace are goin in this week so should be ready for the next official will post up some of the pics i took throughout the day later on when i get them on my pc
  7. I really wanted to come out for this sorry adam for late notice, but i doubt i can get out of my shift next friday as i have taken leave for my 21st which is weekend after, n this weekend for the official gor cruise with sau but looks like u will still get a good turnout of 10+ cars for the discount etc but ill deffinatly be in for the nxt movie meet mate...new fast n furious in april?
  8. hey mate picked up my car from there today fully painted and fitted, yes they are pretty costly but they do a top job...i did provide a side skirt that they dont provide/source and they had a few headaches to fit it up, but they got it on looking very good, i actually went down half way during the process to see how the side skirts would line up (as i was unsure myself because of random supplier i havent bought of previously) and they had to shave of lots of the side skirt to get it on so it looks good. i do have a series 1 aftermarket front bar on my series 2...TOP SECRET is a series 1 front bar...now when i bought it the guy who fits it couldnt guarentee perfect fitment but i liked the bar so i went through with it, yes it did fit however it pokes out 1-2mm near the headlight due to the difference in front end shape between the 2 models. i had a mate who used to own a series 2 r33 with a TRUST front bar, and he had the same 1-2mm poking out round the headlights (but tbh u can hardly see it) but as a business they want whatever car that comes in, to go out with the highest quality standard of work, so thats why they might have seemd a bit not willing to fit what you have there, but the answer to your question is, yes it will fit your car however how good it sits on the car is a different question, if i were you i would go down and speak to them in person let them see the bar and they can tell how it will line up etc
  9. heres my ride, had it since oct 2010, just picked it up from the workshop today just got a bodykit fitted
  10. BOTH BARS ARE NOW SOLD
  11. hey mate i got a car currently at team jetspeed, they are located in clayton, do a google and you will find there details they are costly but the quality of the work is among the best ive had my previous 2 cars go through them for bodykits and i will recommend them to anyone. if you wanna save a bit of coin dt pannels in springvale do good work as well however a workshop will do its best to fit the bodykit up as well as they can but all comes down to the quality of bars you have purchased also i have a series 2 skyline with an aftermarket series 1 bar and it fitted up nicly, just pokes out 1mm under the headlight which u cannot see anyways cos if the slight difference in curve to front end between the two cars hope this helps you out

  20. thanks mate, ill probs just stick to the 9.5+30 on the rear, long as its flush with the guards thats all i care about, cos i didnt really like how my rims on the na sat inside the guard also with these specs front: 9+32 rear 9.5+30 what size tyres should i get?
  21. cars got a kit on it, so wont be slamed for legal reasons, but wheel arch will sit above the tyre 10mm minimum may be more though. 180athid do i just pm him on sau...does he work at a shop or does he just have the equipment to do it afterhours?
  22. thx for the help guys looks like id go front 18x9+32 rear 18x9.5+30 with this flush fitmet ill need to get guards rolled n remove platic liners, i can remove platic liners myself, but who/where will do a good job of rolling the guards at a reasonable price?
  23. hey guys lookin at gettin a set of lenso d1rs for my r33 gtst dont want to do anything over the top so no camber etc, will roll guards if needed and remove plastic liners just want them sitting nice and flush with the guards...also car wont be lowerd too much as it has a kit so guards will sit about a cm or so above the wheel heres some specs from the lenso website WHEEL SIZE: 18x9.0® ET: +15,+32,+40,+44 PCD: (5x100~114.3) WHEEL SIZE: 18x9.5® ET: +30,+40 PCD: (5x100~114.3) WHEEL SIZE: 18x10 ET: +15,+22,+29,+36,+41 PCD: (5x100~114.3) i hear the 18x9 +32 sit flush at front so ill probs be goin with that for the front, question is from above what size will sit flush with the rear keeping in mind i dont want to run camber etc
