yeah been ages since an apple peel meet...feel free anyone to get there earlier then time said i get out of work at 10 that night but i get my full licence few days b4 this meet reason why i organised it...keen for a bit of a cruise like old times sorry to the ppl attending deca completly forgot it was that weekend as well bytron123 - were a friendly bunch of ppl that share the love for skylines...more then happy to have you came along a new face to the regular meets is always a good thing.

nah its not an apexi boost guage...i got a gift card for supercheap for my birthday they dont sell much so thought id just get a boost guage of them, yes its a cheap calibre guage but they didnt have anything else i needed.

went to supercheap autobarn n repco today no one sold metal boost T's in the size i needed, just got a plastic one for 40c

thanks for the replies guys ill head over to the shops tommorow and sort something out lesson learnt dont start work on the car late arvo if something goes wrong cant get spear parts till the next day. i think ill T into the line...any sudgestions on where i can get a new T from? thanks

hey i recenctly bought a boost guage for my r33 gtst went to install it today i was goin to T into the line that runs from the black box (back left hand corner of the engine bay when standing at front of engine bay) this line runs to the back of the intake manifold. after cutting this line i realise the T piece supplied was to big for the line. question is whats the best way to go...replace the full line with a thicker line, or find a T piece that will fit this line and where would i be able to buy a T piece or the new line Thanks for your help in advance heres some pics of the line ive tried to get into...

+1 they inspected my r33 gtst last year in october...car has lived up to what they said in the inspection...owned car for but over half a year now they give you a very detailed report

do we need fire extinguisher fitted to cars? do we need any licence for track eg cams? or is it a laid back day just need roadworthy car n helmet and long sleaves n pants n fully enclosed footwear not working wouldnt mind heading up for a bit of fun

+1 i may be bringin 2 mates in my car I'd prefer not to go to the gtcc meet for the movie as they are meeting at Knox on a Saturday night, not saying there meets cause trouble because they are all sensible guys but sensible or not in Knox doesn't matter with that cop lurking around waiting for imports, I know firsthand cos I work at the supermarket inside Knox and yep last year I got pulled over bcos he saw me park my car n did a general check which made me late to work (he found nothing wrong n let me go, but still was late to work)

and ppl will think were either comin back from the track or goin to the track

hey soo there's been a bit of talk in the actual dyno day thread about a pre meet, thought id post this up to get numbers of people keen and so on Meet: Monash Uni Car Park (usual spot) for the new people enter Monash uni from Wellington road and take a right at the first roundabout inside the uni and we meet just there on ground floor of the multilevel. Time: 9.30-10am has been suggested (please feel free to say too early etc)...but I'd say try to leave Monash by 10.30am SHARP Route: Monash freeway CB: CH14

thanks for the reply guys but the offset for a 10inch cant get to fit my car, so im getting front 18x9+32 rear 18x9+32 i want to get kumho ku36 they come in 235, 245 and 265 they dont make the 255 what would my better option be 245 front and 265 rear?

not to worry went back to the rim place cant get them sizes, looks like ill just go with the 9+32 all round which should only stick in 8mm which isnt that bad its pretty much almost flush but thanks to everyone who helped me

fair point, i got a bit of natural camber atm with my coilovers just been fitted but gettin adjustable camber arms to fix that, as a daily drive i dont want camber wear on the tyres...if it wasnt a daily i wouldnt care that much. but true 9mm isnt allot but cos i aint gonna run camber to tuck it in rules out that size rim for the rear lets just hope they make the 10+36 which is pretty much flush hopefully it wont hit anything behind the wheel for being too wide and just wrap it in 245s or 255s , because the wheel arc is goin to sit above the wheel so dont think rolling the guards or flareing should be an issue...or will it?

yeah 265 is fairly big, but if i were to go with the 18x10+36 id need that cos dont wanna stretch the tyre and ku36 dont come in 255 unfortunatly, alternativly i can get ku31 and run 255 which should be fine aswell on a 10" rim, just thought 245 be a bit to small... if 9.5+30 is flush wouldnt that mean the 9+15 will stick out of guards 9mm?
