  1. Dingus: You wont be dissapointed. Performance-Wise: do u still have the clear front indicators for the S1 stageas?
  2. The JJR coils were total turd compared to these. Thats why JJ stopped selling them. Theres a thread on here somewhere comparing all the coils. From the posts and feedback from the members, I think its safe to say that the YJs are definitely up there with the SFs.
  3. /\ /\ +1 - I always prefer to buy items with longer warranty periods and local support. YJs FTW!!!
  4. They will suit. Shuld consider these too - Yellow Jackets coils (part number YJ-RB2526-S2) Ive been running some in my car now for around 3 years and they havent skipped a beat. They are awesome coils for the price.
  5. Had my YJs in my daily for over 2 years now and they're still going strong.
  6. check this site out for a good laugh - http://www.419eater.com/
  7. U should bait that sucker - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scam_baiting
  8. -1. If they are returning what power you lost, therefore increasing your power, then the advertising isnt really misleading.
  9. Bugger that. Go Yellow Jackets. They are only $390 delivered. Come with 2 year warranty. They own SuperSparks.....FTW!!
  10. Im located in NSW and I got mine within 2 days. depends where you are located. express normally takes 2-4 days max.
  11. I had this a major missfiring issue with my Series 1 R33 GTST at around 4.5-5.5k revs. I tried taping them - didnt work. Tried silicon - didnt work. I then bit the bullet and forked out 380 bux for a set of brand new Yellow Jackets coil packs from Performance Wise and walah - Problem fixed. This was around 18 months ago and they havent skipped a beat since.
  12. I have one of the Autobahn plenums purchased from PW and its sweet. It works great and fit up perfectly. I reckon u should contact performance wise and let them know u are a member on SAU and you'll probably get a better price.
  13. The S2 R33 GTST coils are the same as for the R34 GTR. Go the Yellow Jackets. They are the Bomb. Had mine for around 14 months now and they still run as strong as the day I put em in.
  14. Ive had some Yellow Jackets in my S1 R33 GTST for around 2 years now and they havent skipped a beat and Im not gentle on them either Definitely excellent value for money and theres heaps of guys on SAU using them too.
  15. meh...performance-wise has way more credibility http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...r&mid=13684 http://feedback.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tab=AllFeedback
  16. Nengun Suck. They are way too slow and have been the same for years. Greenline arent much better. I get all my stuff from Performance Wise. Costs a little bit more but delivery is a hell of a lot faster than both those 2 jokers.
  17. Time will tell and so far so good. Also theres plenty of stories of Splitfire shitting themselves well before the warranty period expires. They arent the be all end all. OEM are good to but come with a very over inflated price tag.
  18. I searched. What "other" thread?
  19. Some valid points there. Ive had my Yellow Jackets in my R33 GTSt for around 18 months now and they run as sweet as the day I put them in. Never have they skipped a beat under any of the situations Ive put them through and I havent been a easy on them either. I know there's dozens of members on this forum running the Yellow Jackets in high HP situations and they couldn't recommend them more. I guess its gonna take a few years yet for them to be worthy of the old die hard "Japan products are the shit" fans out there. And then that probably wont happen anyway.... Once upon a time people used to say that Japanese products were a lesser standard and not worthy of the $$ spent on them. Some people just get set in their ways I guess. (Comes with old age.) JK
  20. Not everyone uses Splitfires and Yellow Jackets are tried and proven too - see here No Gamble here at all. Why spend more hard earned $$ when you dont have to?
  21. I heard that Just Jap have discontinued all of their red coil packs as they are rubbish. Apparently Performance Wise will have some Yellow Jackets to suit the R34 GTT Neo very soon. Send him a PM as he is a trader on SAU and he should be able to confirm.
  22. Thanks for the info. Ive already picked up a bearing and hub. The problem is from the hit, and I think the mechanic cant seperate the CV shaft without doing more damage...... I'll give SSS a call tommorow and see what they can do.
  23. The car kissed a curb on the right side rear and most of the other issues have been fixed but it has also stuffed the bearing, stub axle and the cv shaft. Tried a couple of wreckers but they only have R32 GTR bits in stock and they charge an arm and a leg. Located on the south coast of NSW so would probably have to get couriered.
