  1. FYI.....performance wise also distributes HDI/Hybrid intercoolers....Also made in china. And performance wise has the second highest trader feedback on this forum....... cant be too bad a company hey?
  2. You should get your facts right buddy. Performance wise isnt a brand name. It is a company name. Autobahn88 are the company that make these crap kits. performance wise merely distributes them. I actually contacted paul at performane wise about these kits a week or so ago and he said that he is discontinuing these kits due to their crapiness. He told me that they are too inconsistent, where some kits are ok and others are just appalling. He also recommended the HKS and Trust kits which he also distributes. I agree with T-Rex, Not everything made in china is crap. You cant generalise things like that. I also got a set of yellow jackets coil packs from performance wise nearly 6 months ago and these are also made in china. They are very good quality and about half the price of splitfires with the same warranty and performance.
  3. Ive heard stories of the red ones melting before. not sure if they were JJR or Super Spark though? (I guess theyre both probably from the same factory anyway)? Anyone else here used the yellow jackets or is it just me? Mine are still going strong. It'd be good to see them pitted up against JJR & Super Sparks for a final showdown. lol.
  4. not at all. I have a had a set on my S1 R33 GTST for around 5 months now and they havent skipped a beat. They fixed my misfire issue instantly and Ive been giving em hell and they are strong as. Quite a few people are using these now and they are very happy. I got mine direct from paul at www.performance-wise.com and they also come with a 12 month warranty which as good as it gets with these products. I think there is a group buy for them here now on SAU aswell and theres also few good comments and info about these in the group buy thread aswell. Get em. You wont regret it and you'll have some change to get other mods
  5. One has to agree with this statement. Check his posts.....the guy spends most of his time hangin shit on everyone, tryin to find faults and the worst part is, hes a Mod. lead by example hey.....fear the admin power....what a joke How bout the admins show some damn respect. Its the people that keep this forum alive not the forum moderater nazis. Pisses me off when I read through the forum and see this shit goin on. All engo wanted was some help, not to be belittled by some joker who should be the first to try and help, no matter what. Here's a suggestion and an idea all in one for you mister R31Hemroid, why dont you grow up and try being nice to people for a change!
  6. Get some yellow jackets coil packs and save even more money towards better tyres Performance-wise has them on his site for about $380/set - www.performance-wise.com Ive had a set of yellow jackets in my car for about 5 months now and they havent skipped a beat. Plus they come with a 12 month warranty and wont melt like the super spark or JJR ones have been known to do.
  7. I got some on ebay - see here
  8. R31Nismoid - thankyou for correcting my wrongness, and so subtle too. witth the cams though, why are Tomei poncams not interchangeable between the series 1 & 2? Isnt that to do with the crank angle sensor being different in each model? Or am I just being silly again?
  9. The stock ECUs arent interchangeable (correct me if I am wrong). I think it has to do with the base tuning? The AFMs and Cams are different to one another (as well as coil packs) so require a different setting etc.... For aftermarket ECUs however, the plugs are defintely the same as each other as the Apexi Power FC fits both S1 & S2 ok.
  10. Ive got some 17" rims which used to be on my Stagea and I now have them on my GTST. Im thinking of selling them and getting some 18s. Does any one know what other types of cars (other than skylines/stageas) which the 17s will fit on with the same stud pattern etc....like falcons or commodores perhaps? cheers.
  11. Ive got a used Stainless 3" front/dump pipe asking $50 + post. PM me if you are interested as Im about to stick it on ebay.
  12. Go the Yeloow Jackets. Ive been using them on my series 1 GTST for bout 4 months and they are the bomb. I saved 300 bucks and got an intake kit and other mods aswell. they are getting popular and heaps of dudes are startin to use em..
  13. performance wise has the series 2 available to purchase now. check the site out www.performance-wise.com These also come with 12 months warranty and are cheaper than the JJRs. I got a set of the series 1 yellow jackets on my car about 4 months ago and they are sweet.
  14. Ive had a set of yellow jackets in my GTST for around 3 months now and they have never missed a beat. They actually come with a 12 month warranty too. Theres a group buy for them here on SAU and they are only $320. So cheaper than JJR, same results as Splitfire and same waranty.
  15. Im running a set of these in my S1 R33 GTST. They fit perfect and run perfect. Fixed my misfire issue straight away aswell. They have never missed a beat in around 3 months now. I think they come with a 6 month warranty aswell. There is a group buy for these on SAU now and I think they are around $320?

  19. they wont work. the series 2 coils have built in ignitors and the series 1 doesnt. You need series 1 coils on your RB20DET.
