    Yeah having the exhaust would make it soft in the low end. But your mid and high end should have a good gain.

    It is rare for the ecu to be broken. But a new/second hand one will be over $1000

    Yeah if you go to sell the car it needs the right badging. If you want to put a different badge on it and not sell it, i think that is ok.

    If the manifold is clean then i'm guessing no. How's your idle? is it between 650 and 750rpm? if it's a rough idle then maybe a T/B reset or a ECU reset. I still think it's fuel burning. Have you put injector clean in your fuel? might help a little.
