Hey guys. Well.... From the start. Got my extractors put by a local exhaust dude and it took him 2 days to put them on. On the morning of the 3rd day i went to pick my V. The whole time he had my car the bonnet was open so the battery is flat. He and an auto sparky try all day to jump start it, charge the battery, F#*k with the fuses and in the end get it going. In short i pick it up drive down the street and it goes into limp mode (engine light, 'VDC OFF' light and slip light come and the car wont go over 1500rpm) so I limp to my mechanic and he is busy so he hasn't looked to much at my car. What he has done is get some error codes "P1122 P1126" problems with the throttle body (there were 2 other codes p1705 p1815 but they cleared and never came back and i don't know what they are). Now i think when they tried jump starting the car they have messed something up with the throttle body or it's freaking out becasue of the extractors. My mechanic is going to do a throttle body valve reset on monday so fringers crossed. Just want to ask you guys, has anyone gone into limp mode and what caused it? And has anyone ever had the same error codes as me?: P1122 P1126 P1705 P1815

Yeah my mechanic is on to it . got error codes p1122 and p1126 it's to do with throttle control. was hoping to get my car back today but looks like maybe tomoro.

Hey guys. I now have the same problem, Just got my car back from getting extractors put on. I pick up the car at the end of the day drive to the end of the street and the engine light, slip light and VDC light comes on and it goes into limp mod. Can't get it any faster then 40kmh. So i limp it straight to my mechanics. Yet to here anything. Btw. The exhaust guy took two days to put on my extractors and left the bonnet open the whole time so you guessd it, the car battery died. He said he tried to jump start it but it didn't work so he got as auto sparky to come in. He said he had to replace some fuse but it keeped blowing so he put a LARGER FUSE in . I aksed is that ok? he said "yeah yeah, it's fine." i said "really?" he finishes with "It's working right?" Then says goodbye and leaves. i hop in the car and drive away then the promblem starts.

Mate, if there was prize $money$ to be won i would go. It'll cost me too much just the trip there and back, almost 1000km round trip btw. i'll post my next dyno run on youtube. Fingers crossed i want to get 187rwkw

Lets bring back this thread. I dyno 177rwkw right now but picking up the V with new extractors tomorrow then i'll dyno again. (the extractors are really hard to put on) When i got my car i put it on the dyno and got 163rwkw stock 03 auto. Do you guys think there is about a 10kw diff in manuel and auto?

If i was going to come to Perth that weekend i would get you to make a NA class. But i'm not For the record i do 177kw. Getting exhaust manifold on Monday then dyno that week.

Engine:VQ35DE Car: V35 Skyline Coupe Mods: Z-tube and pop charger, Plenum spacer. Power: 177rwkw. Putting the Exhaust Headers on monday and a grounding kit. Will do a new Dyno run sometime next week. Hopping for 185rwkw

Yeah the air scoop and the heat shield connection is a bit sloppy but it still works fine and yours looks the same as mine. If your worried, tape it up, but then it looks messy. You should get an extra 7kw+ at the wheels from this mod
