I just hit the boot release button (I don't have this feature activated on one car) followed by either the lock or unlock and it's stops the chirp just fine. Discovered it by accident too

Have a set of PS3s on the Evo. They have so far survived a very hard Nebo run without any problems - a bit of wear on the outer shoulders because I don't run aggresive -ve camber on a 99% street car (running -1.5 front, -1.0 rear / factory toe settings, 0 front, 3mm total toe in rear). I think their true strength lies in the wet. Hit huge puddles of water at speed and the car tracks straight and true. It isn't Michelin's top dry performer but you won't be giving much away on hard street driving. It is a tyre that has come first (top 3 minimum) in a huge number of tyre tests in the past. Now that the price is so affordable, why would you even consider federal/falken/maxxis/nexen/bridgestone/toyo equivalents? They wear faster than I would like but equivalent to or better than B'stone RE002 for example.

Someone beat you to it but I think they're still in denial. Cars with no De-reg papers etc and there are people still sticking up for the scum... Boils my blood! I really should open up a restaurant or something, cut corners and when people get sick or I get shut down by the Dept. of health, I'll just put on the forums/facebook that the food was there on consignment.

Talk shit about the car you're reviewing and get the banstick from the manufacturer...simple. Politics as much as $$$ have got plenty to do with the comments in the reviews I reckon. IIRC, didn't Chris Harris get the banstick from Ferrari?

Sorry dude.. Didn't check here. Tom and I were there. Quite a few JDMs there. Lots of 4 door skylines, lots of evos, a few S chassis cars and GTSTs there. Also went on a short run just before the meet. Wasn't entirely good cos the roads were slightly wet but oh well Question is, were you there?

Check for boost leaks. Re-secure all clamps to intercooler n piping. Worst case scenario, your ID3's dual solenoids or the control unit itself is buggered.

What you want in your Gbox is Redline Shockproof Lightweight aka Smurf's blood. It'll get rid of your problems and there are a million cases both on here and NS where this oil has solved grinding/shifting problems in Nissan gboxes. I know it worked for mine like a charm and I had gone through 3 differents oils. However, the oil is only masking the problem and ideally, you should be gunning for a rebuild with new synchros, parts etc... So if you're looking for a short term fix while you save up the funds for a rebuild, this is your best option.

I think you guys are looking too much into it. Have seen idiots using a gerny to hose out the engine bay. Then you see a fair few threads on here over the years asking for help cos their idle's shot or the car won't drive the same cos the coilpack valley's full of water etc... Don't you dare tell me you haven't seen those threads being posted up here before. It didn't seem to me that the OP knew what he was doing so giving idiot-proof advice saves a lot of heartache. Mind telling me what sort of sensitive electrics you have under your car? There's nothing of that nature under mine. Here in QLD, cars don't do deep water too well. SES work overtime pulling idiots that do try out of trouble. Maybe your car's really awesome?

Lots of hard work A few used toothbrushes A decent degreaser that doesn't stink (3-in-1 degreaser for example) 303 aerospace protectant to bring the plastics/rubbers back to a nice matte, brand-new looking black colour. I do not hose out my engine bay. No amount of plastic and covers can keep water out of getting into sensitive electronics.

Look the snow tyres on it. Snow country vehicles are never a good buy. Surface rust today, swiss cheese in 10 years. Unless of course you decide to spend thousands disassembling the car after purchase and de-contaminating/rust proofing every single surface. Have family that live in Osaka and while it snows there its never heavy enough or frequent enough to warrant snow/winter tyres. They make do with all-seasons. If you are or know an expert with paint n panels, go for it. The LM is worth it for the colour alone IMO Better question, how long are you planning to keep the car for? SAU can recommend a few reputable dealers with which to dispose of the vehicle once you've had your jollies
