  2. FLIP. I'm pretty sure I wrote "all figures are at the wheel hubs":D Glenn
  3. I removed the cat and fitted a 2 3/4in kakimoto stainless cat back exhaust. That gained me 19rwkw. A SAFC is a super air flow controller, it enables you to controll the air/fuel mixtures by tricking the computer some how. I'm not really up to play with them, but have heard a few success stories from people fitting them. Glenn
  4. I dynoed my car with a K&N panel filter and got 176kw@6007rpm with 1304Nm @4713rpm. I fitted a 2 3/4 in stainless cat back exhaust and had the cat removed(because we can in NZ:p ) and then redynoed it and got 195kw@6660rpm and 1398Nm @4655rpm This was on a dynapack pro V5 hub dynamometer. All figures are at the wheel hubs. You seem to on the right track, apart from the bleed valve. Forget about that and get an electronic boost controller. But a SAFC might be a good idea as well, to keep it from leaning out at higher boost. Glenn
  5. Wicked reading there, but what about 1992:D jk's Must have taken a while to type. Glenn
  6. Well, if you want to come over to NZ for a holiday next week, We are having a Bathurst marathon. We have the 1990, 1991, 1992 races and also the Nissan Mobil 500 from wellington during the skyline era. I think about 7 videos in all. But really, Canman from our forums is putting it onto DVD I think, and may be doing a few extra copies to sell as a fundraiser for SDU. Ill keep you updated. Glenn
  7. Can somebody give me a definate answer as to whether R33 suspension will fit onto a R34 GT-T. And which model R33 it comes from. GTR or GTS 25T. Cheers Glenn
  8. I am able to buy a fairly cheap stainless steel cat back exhaust system. But it is only 70mm(2 3/4in). Would there be any performance difference if I was to get a locally made mild steel exhaust in 76mm (3in) pipe. Cheers Glenn
  9. From what I have heard, stainless has a more tinny sound. Depends on whats on offer at the time, my exhaust on the onld R32 was mild steel and that was on there for 4 years and was still fine. And you all know what the weather is like over here in NZ, and it wasn't even painted. Glenn
  10. My old R32 GTS4 would drive by itself in 1st gear, if you put it is 1st and release the clutch it would drive. Alot of alarm installers over here in NZ wont install remote start in a manual car. Glenn
  11. Sorry to say this, but it dosn't look good. Doctors say the head injury was worse than first thought. The family issued a press release at 7pm 28 april, NZ time saying that within the hour they will be switching life support off. RIP Possum Glenn
  12. Thanks CMS drifter. Somebody over there must have some experience of them. Shops over here are having trouble getting them because turbosmart cant keep up with demand. Are they worth the money, when you can get a blitz dual sbc for the same price. Glenn
  13. Has anybody had one of these installed, or know anything about them? If so are they any good, how do they rate against the Blitz dual sbc and the like. Cheers Glenn
  14. Not a problem Sydneykid, an explanaition is always better than a straight answer. Just out of curosity, what do they run standard, I havn't hooked up my boost guage yet. Cheers Glenn
  15. It would mainly be used for the street, maybe a few trips down the strip. If I was to go out on the circuit what would you reccomend, keep it standard or maybe upto 10psi? Cheers Glenn
  16. What sort of maximum boost would you reccomend running on a R34 Gtt. Just basic mods (exhaust, and a k&N panel filter) with a electronic boost guage. Keeping the standard turbo and intercooler. Cheers Glenn
  17. 4 1/2 years, and still loving it Glenn
  18. Have you guys got your AVC-r's or you money back yet??? It has been and intersting thread to watch, and a lesson on trust, don't trust anybody hiding behind a screen.
