  1. Not like those silly R35's those kids are driving these days That car looks pretty nutso, keep us informed of when its in Perth and doing something we all can see, I'm sure there will be lots of SAU support!
  2. Well I'm a little similar to you, bought my GT-T bog stock, as in stock everything. Did the pod and 3" turboback exhaust first. Then before more "power specific" upgrades I chucked in splitfire coilpacks (simply because I was missfiring), coilovers and good rubber on my new wheels. This means I can get what power I do have down to the ground better in all circumstances. I'm about to buy a new boost controller as my next "upgrade". Before you go getting a FMIC, spend your money elsewhere. An ECU and a tune is the way to go rather then a new cooler, this will maximise your power output, minimise your petrol bill as the stock SMIC is good for 200kw at the rears. Why fix whats not broken? So if your after simple power/number upgrades... air filter, exhaust, boost, ECU/Tune, Intercooler. Just remember there is more then just power to think about suspenion, brakes and tyres are all integral parts of a good Skyline.
  3. About as much as your rear bumper... j/ks Is your car N/A is it? 4 stud wheels? Would look cool on an old school Skyline R31 or earlier. But yeah, worth what someone is willing to pay really.
  4. After putting 18x8.5 +30 and 18x9.5 +35 on mine I woul do it differently if/when I go for a new set of wheels. 18x9 +25/30 [F] and 18x10 +30/35 [R] would look schmick running 225/40's and 255/35's respectively.
  5. 1. Smoked Indicators 2. Wheels 3. Racing Seat (sorta, negotiation done over email but I know the guy! )
  6. I can never tell the reals from the fakes, either way 7 spokes short of a cool Advan (I kid, I kid!)
  7. Got a set of stock R32 wheels with pirellis and a set of R34 stock wheels with Ling Longs at the shop Tim
  8. All I know is the sticker on the passenger door is big, and a big sticker means big power.
  9. Skyline model - R34 GT-T Wheel diameter - 18" Wheel width - 8.5 [F] 9.5 [R] Wheel offset - +30 [F] +35 [R] Tyre size - 225/40R18 [F] 255/35R18 [R] Suspension - Lowered ~40mm Modifications to fit - None (Although my camber may have helped)
  10. Advan Tri-Spokes.
  11. Might be going down with some of the VR-4 boys, I'll look out for you johnny boii.
  12. I have HKS coilovers in mine (sorry dunno which exact model) but they are pretty damn stiff and not really suited to alll of our roads here in Perth. But I think its a case of what you want, I like my car handling well and I don't mind a bumpy ride so thats good for me if you want something a lil softer, go the TEIN superstreets. If you want something that will give you great performance look Jap.
  13. I need to do this to my car, however I want my plastic black. Do I need to re-paint it or can I just metho it back to black?
  14. So which ones exactly are T5's and which ones are T10's? Also where can I get them, I too have this problem.
  15. I can get you some R32 stockies if you want to borrow some
  16. I quite like that front bar, a bit much perhaps though. Do Veilside do a kit for the GTT not just the GTR, a kit is next on my shopping list but I'm still unsure about what to get (finish off my Nismo kit, Top Secret, Impul...) I don't actually mind the Veilside stuff even though some people think they are a bgit over the top. In the end I guess I wanna keep it looking mean and stealthy.
  17. Let me know if you want a puncture repair kit, I have one left at my shop in Osborne park, not as good as a tyre shop doing it but if you pick something up, you can safely plug it up, pump it up and keep driving!
  18. Should do. I love that front bar, I can't wait to go top secret, or should I stay Nismo... argh! Decisions!
  19. AYW550, dish and offset are completely different. (Although the amount of dish is determined by a combination of the design, offset and width) Generally the greater the width and the lower the offset the more dish you have. The offset is determined by where the hub sits in relation to the middle of the wheel, if its right in the middle offset = 0, if it is 30mm towards the outer edge of the wheel then the offset is +30. Thats why a wide wheel with a low offset sits out far and can create more dish. (sorry if I'm confusing lol! I can explain it well in person with a wheel as an aid).
  20. That grill looks really good! The front end of the M35 has always been a sour point for me but it cleans it up and IMO makes the car look completely different.
  21. You can't go cruising when Lady Sovereign's in town!
  22. Not everyone can be a pretty boy Hope the search is going good though!
  23. They will fit. Run 235/40R18 all the way around, they are legal for the rim, will look good on the rim and doesn't effect your overall rolling diameter all that much. They are also a reasonably common size and you can pick up some good tread patterns without breaking the budget IMO (Toyo Proxes T1R, Bridgestone RE001 etc.)
  24. I thought you "cut a groove thru the plastic" though? You were also running a 40 offset though, dunno what difference a litle bit will make.
  25. You could easily find an older gen Skyline/Stagea (e.g R32, R33, C34) with a bit of work done to it with some change which could be a good option. Or if you wanted something more stock an R34 GT-T or if you looked around an R32 GT-R. All of these would be a good option. Or you could always buy an Aristo, Chaser, Pulsar GTir or VR-4 just to be different!
