Get something in writing from your mechanic first, then take that to Murphy's, you will certainly have more ground to stand on. Sounds like the studs could be paid for by them however I don't like the chances of your claim in regards to the wheels, alloys bend quite easily and there is little to no hard evidence that they did damage. Sounds like you went to the wrong Tyrepower!

However if you were like someone else and bought black wheels instead of white ones...

I have just the regular GT-T spoiler on mine and I really like it (gives it a tuff sleek look IMO), the GT-R wing suits is also. IMO coupes look good with wings, sedans good without.

Definitely a very reasonably priced Assymetrical design out there. I was quite impressed with them also.

Like Rhys said a good old RAC check is always a decent idea. And if it is a private sale and the owner doesn't mind alot of workshops will check the car out for a fee if the car is brought to them.

Take it to WA Suspensions where Brad aka RDirty3 (sp?) works. They know suspension and they know skylines! They can hoist it up, see what you have and suggest something that would be good for your needs and driving style. If it had coilovers you would notice as your ride would be quite a bit different to that of a regular everyday car aka Camry/Magna. It would be quite a bit stiffer.

If it's a GT-T then your stock size is 225/45R17, if you want to keep it pretty kosher then... 17" Continue running 225/45R17 on a wheel sized between 17x7 and 17x8.5 (your stock wheel is a 17x7.5) If you desire a staggered fitment then run a 255/40R17 on the rear, this tyre will easily fit on a rim sized 17x8.5 - 17x10. 18" 225/40R18 would be the ideal tyre size. You can happily run this on a rime size 18x7.5 - 18x9 (although personally at least make your wheel 18x8). If you want to run a single size wheel/tyre the whole way round use this size. If you want a staggered fitment you could run a 255/35R18 on the rear you can run this size on a rim 18x8.5 - 18x10. (This staggered fitment is what I will be running when my new wheels arrive for my R34) *You could also run a 235/40R18 all the way around or stagger the fitment with a 265/35R18 on the rear. These tyres are more common and a little cheaper but won't be as good a match in terms of rolling circumference/speedo and will give you a lightly larger sidewall. 19" 235/35R18 is a pretty decent size to run and will fit on a rim sized 19x8 - 19x9.5 For your staggered option run a 265/30R19 (19x9.5 - 19x10.5) or a 275/30R19 (19x9.5 - 19x11). Now the 265 is closer to your stock wheel size however the 275 probably matches up with the 235/35R19 a little bit better. Both sizes would be acceptable. As your car runs the same size front and rear from stock you should technically run the same size front and rear again with your aftermarket wheels. However a staggered fitment is a pretty popular concept with RWD Skyline owners.

The R34. It has more doors, a bigger boot, is newer and is more practical. Or perhaps the R33 because it has 5 gears and more available parts? It all depends on what you are comparing the cars on.

17x8 +34 Enkei's are made to clear brakes on cars like Silvias. Unfortunately you can't measure the "x-factor" of a wheel (the clearance between the spokes and brakes) but you should be ok.

A grand or two is nothing crazy when finding the perfect set of wheels for your car. Sooo many ugly cars out there with try-hard wheels, if you're gonna' bother doing it I say do it right!

I'm buying some wheels in about two weeks... Front - 18x8.5 +30 Rear - 18x9.5 +38 From what I hear should fit beautifully in the R34 GT-T's guards.

White Work Emotion Cr Kai's look very nice. if I was going with a white wheel (which I almost decided on) it would be this one. And you can get them with or without the stickers. Do it, it'll look killer.
