  1. Breakfast tomorrow?
  2. http://www.r31house.co.jp/season2/used_detail2.php?car_code=310058 ~$6,600 AUD, add skirts and a rear bumper and that'd be killer! If you had some serious ke$h I'd be after this GTS-R though... http://www.r31house.co.jp/season2/used_detail2.php?car_code=310051 (I'm assuming the RB26 equipped GTS-X available would be a hassle importing due to the engine)
  3. This just rocked up in the mail It's going to be a good drive home!
  4. Got a big Urthboy playlist happening due to his lack of songs in this years Hottest 100. "We Get Around" is the current track
  5. Picked these up and have been playing them a bit. (Listening to Raw Footage to/from work today)
  6. You need just enough preload on the springs to make them captive. As for dampening are you adjusting away from full stiffness? This is how you generally adjust coilovers so when you say 6 and 4 I assume that is the amount of clicks off (to the left) off full stiffness.
  7. Yes it can. You can do a wheel alignment on worn tyres setting the steering wheel straight and then go and get new tyres put on which can send the steering wheel slightly off centre.
  8. Your dampening settings are very aggressive. I believe these have ~30 points of dampening adjustment? Try setting it at 15 front and rear and see how it drives.
  9. I read that most people in the automotive industry (lets say 90/95%, don't quote me, in fact if you have the real figures I'd love to see them) work in Service and not manufacturing meaning that what jobs are lost in the scheme of things are only small and should be able to be divided up elsewhere.
  10. Serious question, sorry if it's stupid. The Government taxes imported vehciles stupidly and therefore make lots of money out of them but instead of making money off of Holden and Ford Australia the Government GIVES them money. Why does the Government care so much about Holden and Ford Australia if they are better off with imported vehicles?
  11. My mate's 808 is a great example of a nice street sleeper, sure the whole old Mazda rotary has been done a lot but... Smoothie wheels, red/white wall tyres, rear venetians and a sun visor. Oh, and it also runs 10's with a full interior and numberplates - not bad!
  12. Test is useless without using the same tread pattern on each tyre and the same type of wheel in each size (e.g TE37 etc.) How can you compare a 16" steel wheel with a Pirelli P6 tyre against an 17" cast alloy with a Pirelli P7 tyre? But yeah in general, the more unsprung weight, the worse the results. Pretty basic stuff.
  13. Doom is the man, great live act as well
  14. I listened to this last night I listened to this on the way to work this morning And I just recieved this in the mail!
  15. THIS! I froze my ass off last year
  16. This is true. But I'd take the same approach as I do when I'm trying to fix a mechanical issue, fix what's obviously broken/farked (in this case his tyres), see what happens and go from there.
  17. Wider, grippier tyres required, pretty straight forward! I disagree with what's being said about the dampening, if you're already moving and have GOOD tyres and running < 300rwkw you should be able to run a stiff spring rate and high tyre pressure with no dramas. I run my dampeners set on full stiff and my tyres pumped up to 40psi and when I'm moving and cracking gate in a straight line I have no traction issues unless I'm being silly with the clutch
  18. Don't listen to Martin, he doesn't have an R34 GT-T
  19. You definitely missed out, was one of the best I've ever been to. On the cover of How Ya Like Me Now check out the red kangol hat underneath the LHF wheel, very sly
  20. Did you see him when he toured Australia ~2011? Was an awesome gig, came with DJ JS-1 and they were fkn AMAZING! Also - you can't listen to LL's "Momma Said Knock You Out" without listening to Kool Moe Dee's "How Ya Like Me Now"
