  1. I suppose I'll see what time I fall out of bed...
  2. I run a 255/35R18 Toyo Proxes R1R on a 10.5" rim on the back of my Cossie, has decent stretch and that tyre is quite wide for a 255. Considering the car is a R33 GT-R that runs 245/45R17 originally I'd lean towards a naturally wide 265/35R18 (R1R, AD08 etc.) or a 275/35R18.
  3. Don't know if serious or not due to low posts and italics... But Japanese Performance Centre have had a few and last time I was in there (before they moved) Rob the mechanic was rebuilding a VR38DETT engine.
  4. 225/45R17 Some stretch on there as well as a good rolling circumference for the R33.
  5. Matte titanium /thread
  6. You need a bigger 'X-Factor' i.e caliper clearance this changes from wheel to wheel and is not dependent on wheel width or offset. For instance I have a set of Evo V Enkeis and a set of Work Meister M1Rs. At 17x7.5 +35 my Enkeis have more brake clearance than my 18x10.5 +15 Meisters due to a different X-factor.
  7. Yes, Aus-Spec coilovers for road use work incredibely well and aren't too stiff at all IMO.
  8. That it does. In saying that if your budget allows for a Skyline and not an Excel then you can afford good quality parts IMO
  9. Which is why you should get a real turbo rotary
  10. How did I just read this?
  11. Worked in a tyre shop for years, never heard of them. I'll go out on a limb and say they are just sh*t cakes of soap.
  12. You cut me real deep just now Paul. As the resident rotary owner here I'm sure the guys wouldn't mind me pointing you towards http://www.perthrotary.com/ and http://www.ausrotary.com/ where you will no doubt get more help then from the RB boys. Personally as far as RX's go I prefer FD and FC RX-7s. But a dumped RX-8 with a big brisgeport or even a crazy peripheral port would be pretty killer to see driving Perth's streets
  13. 30 Rick IS pretty awesome
  14. How did I miss this thread? ... er... I mean welcome.
  15. Super Drifts are an aggressively valved shock absorber matched to a stiff rated spring. Great for drift/track, no good for a comfy ride. Sell them and buy some TEIN SuperStreets or a Bilstein PSS coilover kit.
  16. TEINs all the way. Better quality shock absorbers, re-buildable, parts easily available, made in Japan. Need I say more?
  17. Slick Rick?
  18. Dumped white Stagea on gold/bronze wheels along Frobisher streer ~11:30am today. Had presence.
  19. You 'lol' yet you don't vote? I thought we were bum buddies friends?
  20. Japanese Performance Centre because they're off lips!
  21. He's like our own little Kenneth.
  22. I vote for 'Astley'. Or '30 Rick'.
  23. That sucks man, really sorry to hear that. Perhaps it's the fact that I work in the "industry" here in Osborne park and that I know a couple of the people there but all of my dealings with D&Ts has been very good. I had a black R34 GT-T which was hit in the front by a Holden Commonwhore and the work was great, I imagine not the easiest car/colour to work with.
