  1. That is great news! About time that old (and IMO crappy) rule got changed.
  2. With an 8mm spacer you would most likely find that you would run out of thread on the stud to put the wheel nuts onto anyway. Luckily you will find plenty of nice Jap rims to fit your R33
  3. This makes me a sad panda
  4. The Bridgeys certainly didn't used to be (at least in comparison to the Aussie market!) Particularly when looking at the larger more European sizes (255/35R19 etc.) Yes, the Z1 Star Specs are a great deal via tirerack and I have advised a few friends to get them now. The AD08s are way cheaper then here too!
  5. Just might be the wrong wheels for the car with an incorrect 'X-Factor' basically meaning caliper clearance. New wheels by the sounds of it mate!
  6. Yes, SuperPro does all Polyurethane bushes. We sell lots of them and we all use them in our cars here at work. Very good product
  7. Don't do it. a) It will look like ass b) Skylines trademark are their awesome red round taillights, why would you want anything else back there?
  8. Keep in mind front adjustable camber arms are sometimes made for people to set their cars up aggressively (i.e race cars, lots of neg camber), if you are looking to put more positive camber in the front the SuperPro poly adjustable bushes work very well (I should certainly hope so anyway, we helped R&D the damn things! )
  9. Considering the facts though the car was made between what? 1998 and 2001? This means that if it has stocko suspension still it is 11 - 14 years old. O.E shocks last (as a general rule of thumb) about 100,000kms so a car that has only done 10k a year on average is still going to have a 'decent' amount of kms on it. Time to upgrade that suspension I reckon! When I had an R34 GT-T a couple of years ago it had done ~130,000kms and the shocks were still 'acceptable', after dropped in some HKS coilovers though the car transformed itself! Obviously all cars are different but due to the age of the vehicle and the fact that the suspension is still factory nine times out of ten I would look at replacing.
  10. Same thing happened with VE Commodore Spec Bridgestone RE050As in 2010/2011. Bridgestone Australia chopped up prices as to not make parallel imports (which ahd flooded the market at that time) no longer financially viable.
  11. 1) Do a service. 2) Wheels (Good ones with sticky rubber) 3) Set of coilovers and dump it to the weeds (A decent set; TEIN, Cusco, Bilstein etc.) 4) 3" exhaust from the turbo back (Stainless)
  12. I just don't understand I'm afraid
  13. Any Juan engine can recieve a manuel conversion.
  14. Yes Buy wheels that fit correctly the first time ... and don't buy Rotas
  15. What about the Aristo? 2J + rear seats + a boot? I'll stick with my 20B, more factory power and torque then both of the formentioned...
  16. Isn't the engine east/west? If so does it come in an AWD 1.6T manual? And if so, it should definitely be imported
  17. I used to run... [F] 18x8.5 +30 225/40R18 [R] 18x9.5 +35 255/35R18 Slightly lowered on coilovers with un-modified guards, never had an issue. In saying that I was always dissapointed that I had spent over $4k on wheels and tyres and it was never really aggressive enough
  18. As Dave said Noltec is more of a light blue and SuperPro a dark blue/purple. In my experience the SuperPro ones are quite long lasting - part # SPF1202AK.
  19. What size wheel on what car? I'd love to stretch a 175/65R15 on something like a 15x9 wheel for my daily I also run a 225/40R18 on an 18x9.5 on my car other car.
  20. You aryan sunamagun! I wouldn't put money on it mate, but anything is possible! Most likely roll in ze Celica!
  21. ^^^ Didn't see that coming....
  22. I have a set of wheels and tyres, I think they're Nissan Silvia (S14/S15) 16's with legal 205/55R16 or 225/50R16 tyres (not staggered) on some rims. Can't guarantee they will clear the GT-T calipers though.
  23. All road legal tyres need a UTQG rating (at least in the USA) from memory we are the same. Toyo Proxes R1R has a rating of 140 and the Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 has a rating of 180. I would assume these will be two commonly used tyres for the event?
  24. Move to WA and buy an R34 GT-T because we don't have ristrictive P-Plate laws
  25. Lol Clearly you have no idea what Dale and myself will be captaining... (You'll be more then fine in an NA mate, come along!)
