P Platers Driving Turbos And V8's
Kintake replied to Aussie_Delivered_R32_GTR's topic in New South Wales
It was actually July 2005 when it came in. I do a lot of weekday driving and don't see it very often. But I don't do any weekend or night time driving, that's when most of the crazies are out. -
Pirtek is now Sydney tools. They sell good tools too.

Car Accident Drams, Help Needed/advice From Experience
Kintake replied to Yts's topic in New South Wales
If that happened to me I'd try to get a Lawyer who can help me. -
The legislation actually says: For the purposes of this clause, a "high performance vehicle" is a vehicle: (e) that is listed for the time being in the Authority’s publication Novice Driver-High performance vehicle restrictions as a high performance vehicle for the purposes of this clause. Which is this page: http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/licensing/downlo...itions_dl1.html So if it is specifically mentioned on that page(which it is) then it is the law.

Was the car being repaired at that smash repairs? Why was it parked out side a smash repairs in an industrial area 10pm on a Sunday night?

I just renewed my rego for 6 months again on the 12th of September and did not need an inspection report. http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/myrta/downloads/...ectiontable.pdf If you register for 6months every time you would be the 5th row down on that table, which requires an inspection every twelve months. If you had 12 months, then moved to 6, you will need a report. If you had 6 months and do another 6, you do not need one. If you had 12 then went to 6 then decided to go to 12 after that, you will need a report after every time.

Must be chameleon, lol.

I saw the cameras there and drove around the block heaps of times to get on TV, I didn't get stopped once. I didn't see any channel 7 signs, I thought they were filming for the NSW part of The Force - Behind The line.
-
No. It is the same licence, and same points. If you have a provisional rider licence and go over the provisional point limit, your rider licence will be suspended. You will still be able to drive a car if you have less than 12 points on your licence altogether..

If that's true, it proves hes not a complete asshole. I had an unlicensed guy nearly run into the back of me about 2 years ago, and because he deemed it my fault he decided to follow me and eventually over take and stop me in the middle of the road. When I realized I couldn't go anywhere I stepped out armed, and he said "Why cant you fight one on one? I nearly hit you and I have no licence". I told him I don't want to fight anyone, you made me stop. This is the type of idiot most of us have dealt with, you cant blame us for having a go at your mate.

This is why you can't give anyone the benefit of the doubt after an incident, this happens all the time.

Just wondering, how long did it take for the letter to arrive after you ordered the plate? They say 21 days, but I assume it was quicker?
-
Just sent the form away today in express post, I ordered an extra sticker so I can put one on my Camry as well.
-
He shouldn't have been driving. Hopefully the guy in the BMW has plenty of cash and can get your mate for everything he has.
-
Leon also did my car. Very good job, no wire clippings on the floor at all!

The restriction came out in July 2005, so to have gotten your red p before it came in would mean being on your P plates without being disqualified for 5 years. I got my Red p in 2003 and have been on p plates ever since due to one disqualification that came from driving while suspended for fine default. Personally I drive a turbo car everyday, even though the restriction was added for me in 2007. I've had v8's and turbos before that, so It's basically a punishment, not a safety concern. I haven't put a p plate on any of my cars for about 1 year now, but I don't look like a p driver and my licence doesn't say Provisional across the top because its a heavy vehicle driver licence, that probably helps. Do you have a good driving record? How many infringements? Are you a p plater? Your excuse isn't really an excuse, you are admitting to driving while suspended even though you didn't need to.

Would a hammer be OK to use?

You showed this video to the police yet? Criminals like this are usually known to the local police.
