I know this forum is not the most appropriate place to ask about them but does anyone have any info or can post some links to some Nissan El Grande sites? I was going to buy a stagea c34 (and might still) but I'm now thinking a van would suit me better - in particular the el grand. I've google searched and can't seem to find any places that talk about these cars, which is why I'm here. Issues I am concerned about: 1. How narrow are they? Are they as narrow as a Mitsubishi Delica? (not a good thing in my opinion) 2. Fuel Consumption? I would probably convert it to gas - what mileage do they get? 3. Cost of parts and reliability. I understand that it's an import but I don't mind paying for repairs as long as it's not all the time y'know? 4. Performance at high mileage. I will no doubt put this car into the high hundreds of thousands before I am finished with it. Can they withstand those kind of miles on the odometer? Thanks guys. Once again, I didn't know where else to turn!

Thanks heaps. Invaluable information. The more I research the more the Stagea appeals to me. Yesterday I was leaning towards the m35, today I'm leaning towards the c34! (in between I briefly thought about getting a commodore equipe wagon). Some more questions. Will it fit 3 baby seats? Not essential, but kinda nice as I have 3 kids. Where is the best place to source stagea's online? I am in Melbourne, and so would naturally prefer to try/buy in Melbourne or at least country vic but is there an online car site you guys swear by to find them?

Thanks heaps for those links. How do the Stagea's handle the mileage? I've read about the 100k service but what else goes wrong when they get in the high numbers (and which high numbers)

So I like the WC34 and I like the m35 with aero front. How much better on fuel is the m35 compared with the WC34? If anyone can answer if the Stagea goes well on gas I'd appreciate that info as well. Thanks for all the replies so far!

I found this 2001 M35 http://www.carpoint.com.au/used-car/NISSAN...u&State=VIC but I can't find any other M35s with the same front. The body looks the same as a M35 so I'm assuming it's not a mistake on the sellers part. Is it a specific model or kit? I quite like it compared to the other M35s I've seen.

Just started looking into small/mid station wagons. I really like the look of the stagea RS4, primarily 1998-2000. What are the main differences between the years/models? I commute from 70 to 140 kms a day, about 30ks of that is open road/country blocks. The higher kms is pretty much all freeway. I live on acreage and so it will be exposed to some dirt roads and some bumpy driveways. I realise that the stagea may not be the most economical or even compatible to my lifestyle but I really like them! I've seen some dual fuel ones but how does the stagea go with the gas? Is there anything else to look out for? Any problem areas? I'm going to try and do a trade in on my 2000 Mazda Protege sedan - what prices should I be looking at? Thanks.
