I did the roof/door trims on my old car myself with blue suede, if you're gonna DIY make sure you get a good adhesive otherwise in a few months it may unstick, especially the roof, I had to re-do the roof because I didn't stick it together properly

yeah, hasn't rained in a while so the roads are pretty oily. was slippery for me on the way to work too

ouch, sucks that your car got impounded.. As stupid as hoon laws are I guess they're there for a reason.. The other week I was at a set of traffic lights and took off a bit fast and may have gone a little bit (10-20 tops) over the speed limit.. undercover cops saw this and pulled me up, I denied doing it, they had no proof so all I got was a yellow sticker. they did give me a warning for reckless driving though.. so if you deny it and they have no proof there may not be much that they can do..

I have someunderbody lighting too on my magna, I've been stickered for it too which sucks. Basically you are not allowed to see the tube AT ALL. One time I got pulled up they let me off with a warning saying "hide it, sticky tape it, or paint it" another time i got pulled up (stickered) they said tape or paint is not allowed, the tube has to be hidden. they can also defect your car if your lights FLASH or >> CAN BE MADE TO FLASH << which is bs, because almost all of them can be made to flash, just tell them they cant be made to flash There's a document on the DPI website about it which i printed off and keep in my car, i'll have a look for that shortly, have to start work now someone may have already posted it though

some parts of tonkin HWY are straight with some tiny bends - but being a highway there will be traffic there most of the time, but there's not as much as you'd think sometimes. keep safe

Malz sells guage holders, I got a standard 52mm one from there last weekend, they sell 1, 2 & 3 holders in different sizes too.

Macs usually aren't as cheap as most other lappy's but JB HiFi usually do pretty good deals there's probably other places around, theres an apple shop in the carillion arcade in perth above Hungry Jacks next to Game Traders, but they wouldnt be as cheap as some other third party retailers.

Last saturday I was at a set of traffic lights (I had neons on) and an undercover police car drove through the lights, my mate said they were staring at me so at my friends suggestion i turned them off. I turn at the lights as i was going to and thinking they are long gone I turn my neons back on, it appears the cops did a U-turn and decided to follow me, my mate notices them behind me again so I decide to turn them off, and take the next right (which is where i was going anyway, to get some dinner) and go into the shopping center and into the KFC drive-thru, being a saturday night it's full so the cops just pull up next to me and tell me to park my car. nothing much, just a warning - not even an RBT. But I found it funny that they pulled up next to me when i was (almost) in the drive-thru

Yeah i got bored one saturday and did the same thing with my Magna, they were just the stock rims though so its not like i'm ruining anything. I went with blue paint though, so it looks kind of wierd lol.
