Thanks.Therefore if i did go for the fujitsubo, i would need a cat on the front pipe.Do you know if any one making up the dump pipes can supply a cat to go ?. How did any other fujitsubo owner do this if they have upgraded to a 3" or greater dump?

just a question re the fujitsumo legalis r .Is that a resonator behind the muffler or a cat?I'm looking at buying this system, and also a dump/front pipe without the cat on the front pipe.Perhaps those on this discussion can clarify this for me.There has been so much too-ing and Fro-ing about who can do what and what fits with what, i'm finding ia a bit hard to make sense of it. regards graham.

as the title suggests,the drivers side window has given up the ghost! it was workig well for about 3 months (since i bought the car) but i noticed in the last 3 weeks it had started to slow up.Last night it woulndnt go up.any suggestions would be appreciated.

spotted on bruce hway(freeway)at burpengary,at 2.20 pm,very tidy series 2(i think) black stag..(couldnt flash, highway patrol car in the vicinity)

Michael,if you want to have a better look at a m35, i'm on the Sunshine Coast .I have a m35trx. We could get together if you would like.Mine is bog standard.( at the moment.)

the ball bearing turbo will spool up faster than the standard bush type. I've had experience with both types, no downside really with the ball or roller bearing type,just better spoolup.

I would like to add my 20 cents worth.A. No one has been able to come up with any alternative to suit vq25det. B. from what i have read,and i have read heaps,this turbo was made exclusively for our model stag. C. Yes, at first glance GCG might appear to an expensive option,remember,this option enables you to use all the original lines/fittings.Savings there will be quite considerable. D. thanks to Stephen for his investigations/and preparedness to share his information. E.Jetwreck(craig?)who actually did your hi flow /are you happy wih them as you havent shared this info with us.(My apologies if i have that wrong.)

Can anyone tell me what is the turbo from the m35 called?.e.g, turbo on s14,15 is a garrett t28bb/on a bluebird with sr20det motor it is a t25g.Also is the exhaust flange a "T3" or "T2"?I guess what i am trying to find out is , has anyone found a suitable replacement turbo,say HKS,Garrett,etc.? Is hi flowing the original turbo the only way to go?

Yes it is a whistle,(fairly loud),i think what i will do is get my mate to pull the turbo off as a precaution,to check it out.It might be a good excuse to then get it hi flowed.Along with a bigger exhaust, i should think that would do me nicely. thanks for your input.

Hi Dan, the sound you are describing,is it a metallic screaming sound ,or a whistle type .?The sound i am hearing is a whistle type sound that raises in pitch the faster the turbo is spooling.

I have driven an m35 on a test drive. it was much quieter.This sounds more like a siren in the distance.My other car is an attesa bluebird with a gt2871. you can hear it spool with a higher pitch. . No, its different to that.

Hi, i have an m35 with 50000 kls on it.The turbo gets a hi pitched whistle when it comes on boost.No apparent loss of power.It doesnt blow any smoke.Should i be worried? I have just given it its 1st service.My mate the mechanic, who has a lot of experience with turbos said he wasnt sure if there is a problem but he did say he noticed a lot of heat has been generated on and around the turbo.His suggestion was to upgrade the exhaust from the turbo to 3" to improve the airflow.Any suggestions would be appreciated.

hi,i'm about to do the 1st oil change on my rx m35. Can you tell me what type of oil you all use in you 35s? Brand, type and viscosity would be good. It would also be helpful to know why you chose that oil above others.many thanks,graham.
